Hi everyone. I Need your help...

I had sent my INLAND spouse sponsorship application on July 6, 2014 until now i haven't received any email or acknowledgement (AOR) that they have received my application? What should i do? Thanks I appreciate your advice.

Not everyone receive AOR, sometimes CIC just doesn't send it, but it's not necessarily means anything.
Now days even eCAS doesn't seem to work for everyone, so basically for some people there is no other way to find out if your application was received but calling the call centre.

Thank you for your reply.. basically i have the Purolator receipt which confirms the delivery date other than that i don't have any confirmation. if I call the call center what shud i ask for.. on what basis will they be looking for my application?

Thanks your advice & help..

They can confirm that they received your application on a specific date and you can get the caller's UCI and the file number. The sponsor and the applicant have different UCI, and AFAIK they allowed to give you only the caller's UCI.
They will need the full name, date of birth, country of birth, maybe the full address in order to identify you.

I started a # on twitter #SupportInland. I think we need to starting posting regularly about the increasing wait times and the unnecessary hardship many families are experiencing. Keep it positive, but we need to share our stories and get the word out there. We are being left behind, and we all have pretty good idea as to why.I am open to changing the hashtag of course , but we need to do something to raise awareness. Facebook page, twitter campaign..something to put pressure on CIC to get moving. We know they are busy, but we shouldn't be the group that gets set aside.

haha..I guess I look around before I open my big mouth...Forget about my message and support this page... #InlandSponsor

Effective Jan 15 2015, Open Work Permit will be issued to all Inland files with AOR. Confirmed by call center agent this morning. I leave it to you guys to verify if you want to. Source: People from Facebook group.

How long has it been now since the CIC processing times have been updated? it feels like it has been stuck in August for months now. ffs.

They've been processing August since October, and will be for another two months.

Wooooohoo the speed is blistering.

I know these days. Canada is not as popular as it used to be to immigrants because of Germany. But that sounds toooooo good. AOR has legal effect? It's just we received your application.

Thank you for your info. I really hope that is true.

We sent in an inland spousal sponsorship application on Feb 2014 to sponsor my husabnd. His PGWP is expiring in July2015. I am guessing we might get the stage1 approval in May or June 2015. So I wonder if we got stage 1 approval, what kind of status that he can stay in Canada after July 2015. Does stage 1 give the people being sponsored a temporary staying status?

at stage one approval you can apply for an open work permit.

Your times lines look really good that's close to 18 months hopefully you wont have any issue.

Mike

Thanks Mike, if we apply an OWP but it is not approved before July 2015. Are we under implied status that he can state in Canada? (FYI, we didnt submit a OWP with the application) :'( :'(

Since the OWP was not submitted with the Inland application, implied status doesn't apply.
