If the applicant did not have any UCI previously, would that be assigned in when we receive the AOR, along with the application Id?
In my case, the applicant did not have a UCI, and I had left it as blank when I filled the application.
When will I get the UCI for my file?

You will get the UCI for your file when you get AIP email. They will list your UCI in it.

Dear Maciej ,
This confirms that your application for Permanent Residence under Family Class Sponsorship has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2014/04/11.

I guess this is AOR??? :)
Please update my Timeline if so, Sophiee.
Thank you.
Something's moving forward :)

I'm so happy fro everyone who received AOR!:)

IT's strange tough, I thought that always the sponsor got the AOR, and in our case my husband (Sponsor) received it. And they sent it from this address: Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca

Just received a call from our consultant. CIC has returned one form that was signed in the wrong place. But the good news is we can now say that they are at least looking at May applications. Ours was received according to Canada Post on May 22, 2014. We will re-sign the form and get it right back in.
Did you get AOR as well?

Hi I submitted my inland spousal visa file on February 21st and still no aor!! How is it possible that March/April applicants are getting aor's and I'm not. Are there any February applicants in the same situation as me!? I do have a uci # from my tourist extension visa but when I used it to check online my status it said that the information cannot be found based on my uci extended tourist visa #. Help? I am in toronto if this is helpful.

Yay! They're really moving! I got AOR today, August 7, 2014 and they received my application on April 29, 2014.

Thank you in advance for updating my status in the spreadsheet.

Fingers crossed that this speed continues!!!!!

hi CMLR did they returned just one form or they returned ur whole package?

Anng, Just one form sponsor extra info form or something like that. We have decided to also update the dependent form. I have a son who is now 19, but still 18 when it was sent in. He is not coming to Canada, his choice as he is young adult, but if we include newer form there should be no more questions on if he is coming or doing medicals which we aren't due to his age

Hello,

So I am filling out my OWP application and in the form they are asking about the details for the prospective employer. should I be putting N/A as I am already working and would be continuing with it???? and what about expected duration of employment? what I should fill in there??
