You can pay the fee online and email the receipt to CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca

Are you sure about that? In my landing interview invitation they're asking me to bring the receipt of the RPRF. That suggests to me that they would have scheduled the interview regardless but just making sure that it's been paid before issuing CoPR.

They will still schedule the interview. I believe some offices give the option of paying this fee when you arrive for your interview, but the best thing to do is to pay as soon as you get DM.

Of course. My only objection to your statement is that they still schedule the interview. It's your own duty to be able to show proof of payment at that time.

26 months according to CIC.

In reality there is some variation, but don't expect that your application will be processed faster than their posted times - that will just lead to frustration.

Hi Cedeel, it took us 16.5 months. We are May 2014 application. Some applications in 2014 Sept, Oct they got luck, they got their dm in 10 months! We are on track just as the timeline cic posted on their website.

Yes, I'm very aware of that situation as I'm one of the people that got through everything in about 10-11 months. All I'm saying is that we can't be sure of the timelines of people applying later and to not expect too much of CIC.
