After 4 hours...I got the DM letter! Thanks God!
It says the office in Vancouver will contact us for further interview arrangement balahbalah...

now i have a question:

do i need to expect for any "physical mail" or just e-mail? As my landlord is not at home - i have no access to my mail ???

Congratulations. Let us know when you hear from the Vancouver Office. We have been waiting 3 weeks now with no communication from the Vancouver office for a interview/landing date.

It should be by e-mail.

we applied under spouse sponsorship

here is our timeline so far

application filled and sent: sept 2014
application returned to us november 2014 because of the applications filed was expired.
application sent later november 2014
application received AOR: Dec 5 2014
Sponsorship application status: In process on April 2 2015

by far we are looking hopefull
I have a few questions:
1. I have sent in an application for an open work permit in feb 2015, how long before I get it?
2. My status is an on study permit, I had a PGWP in the past and it expired before i Extended. I am graduating this month tho. Can i work while waiting for my open work permit
I called the call center and some said I can work and some said I cant, very confusing. what is you guys opinion and how long before I get AIP.

I still haven't received my OWP. I was in status when I sent the application.

The problem is, my Visitor Record is expiring on 27th May, and now I am confused whether to apply for an extension or wait for my OWP? I have tried calling CIC call centre but its useless, their lines have been busy from last 2 weeks. .

Please help.

You don't have to apply for visitors visa. You already have an implied status from the OWP with your PR application. Goodluck

That's why I am worried because, my Alberta Health will be expired with my Visitor Record.

everything happened at the same day! I got the landing interview notice from the Vancouver office this afternoon...10th June 2pm!

The waiting game is finally over Can't wait for the interview day!
