We got out landing appointment letter from Vancouver same day as DM. Have you paid the right of permanent residence fee?

Yes, we paid the fee. As usually CIC does nothing in a predictable fashion. I hope next week at the latest we will get an email from the Vancouver Office.

I just received the CIC email for my final landing interview!! It will be May 19th in Ottawa (it took a little over 2 weeks from DM)! I am so very happy.

One question, both of my kids are Canadian citizens (we have their certificates), do they need to join us at the interview?

I am an Oct 17th 2013 applicant, and I'm in the same situation as you. I was asked a new passport, proof of cohabitation until present, medical and marriage certificate. I sent everything two weeks after on March 30th, and never heard back from them again.

What's the officer that asked you for the documents? Mine is MSI ER4. I sent a letter to my MP on Friday. Let's see how it goes... I hope it helps...

Hello all..
Finally, I'm landing in Etobicoke on May 12th. Can't wait! They say it's very fast and easy ? Is it true?

Good luck everyone !!

Application submission - December 2013
AIP, SA, DM-April 2015

Hey guys! I have a question. Can I phone cic call centre as the sponsor? My husband is a chef and its difficult for him to get away from work long enough to call and we keep having to wait until his days off to make the calls (it's so annoying considering I'm on mat leave and sit at home all day! Lol)

if you have all the infomation that they needed, i think it should be fine.
My husband(my sponsor) called couple times, then most of time was me calling cic.

So I had an appointment at my local MP's office on Friday. I saw his assistant who was absolutely lovely....she can't believe I've been waiting this long with how many people after me have got DM. (Even though my prints were requested last year they marked that off as a non-issue on my file shortly after receiving them, so apparently that shouldn't be the reason for a holdup). She took tonnes of notes about my application and situation including my passport issues etc ...then put in a call to the Ministers office. She's expecting a call back either today or tomorrow and is hopeful they can prod this along a little. I gave her some figures about the current inland processing times (17 & 10) versus processing times when my application was submitted (8 & 6) - she said i'm the first person to call or go in who can actually provide these figures, and can also back them up. Turns out my local MP is the Shadow Minister for Consular Affairs & Human Rights, and works closely with the Shadow Immigration Minister and they want to use information like this in their meetings etc. So maybe it can help us all, who knows. I'm going to stay ccautiously optimistic without raising my hopes too much...but cross your fingers for me!

Hey all my spouse got their landing date set for May 19th at Etobicoke office.
From DM to landing e-mail it took 4 business days, and from DM to landing date will be a little over a week.

Total time from application received to landing will be 1 year 4 months and 19 days. Could have been worse I guess.

Good luck to all those waiting! My spouse and I definitely could not have gone through this process without this forum, and that wonderful spreadsheet.

got my OWP in the mailbox yesterday :D
