Congrats RRSweet .

Im finally an PR . We landed on friday. It took about 1 hour. They called each couple one by one asked the same general questions, asked u to wait to give the pics and then asked everyone yo wait for a general anouncment (basically told us about pr travel, when the card will arrive). Very smooth process and all the agents were all very friendly. Our joutney is now over. Best of luck to everyone whp is waiting and thank you to everyone in the forum for all the precious information and help

Received Landing Interview Date from Etobicoke office by email.

Feb 4 is the date.

I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:

date feb 4th 2015

Also they ask me to bring original passport which is with CBSA... How am i going to get my passport????

is this landing letter or what?????????????

It looks like a DM / landing letter. Congrats! I wish every one of us were able to land this fast
As for the passport request, try to read back, Tilikun and Lorelai12 had some issues, they were talking about the process.

I received DM on Jan 14, but still no landing interview email or letter from the Vancouver office. Today is the 9th business day (I got DM at 6:30am, so I'm counting that as a business day). All the other landing offices seem to be rather quick. Should I try to contact the Vancouver office? Anyone else with experiences with the Vancouver office?

All the other landing offices seem to be rather quick. Should I try to contact the Vancouver office? Anyone else with experiences with the Vancouver office?

I received DM on Jan 13th, still no word from Vancouver for us either. Hopefully it will be soon... ???

Well, my re-med is booked for a week tomorrow (which is kind of frustrating because I don't know why they can't just re-assess my old medical as it meets the criteria but whateverrrrr..........I think they just want my money!!)

Did anyone here have to do a re-med as the last thing and if so how long after you did it did you get DM? Trying to get an idea how much longer this might be dragged out!

Same here. I received DM on January 20 and haven't heard from Vancouver's immigration office yet. They're pretty busy I suppose.

Guys. Hope the week brings a lot of AIPs, DMs and OWPs.

Question for the forum,appreciate if anyone can provide any insight!

1) We paid out RPRF on the day we got the AIP(10 Dec), however we did not mail it in to CIC until last week (23 Jan). Will this delay the processing of the DM?
2) Also does anyone know how much time CIC takes to update their system that RPRF has been paid, once they receive the details in the mail?

I don't think it will the delay the process at all, RPRF can be paid just before going for your Landing Interview as well. I would think its not a criteria for them to delay DM on.
any documents that you mail to CIC are processed and put on file (in my experience 2-3 weeks), although the agent working on your file might not see it until he/she re-opens the file again.
It is always a good idea to take the copy of receipt to your landing interview, but in your case I would make sure that you have it! They didn't ask me for it because I had paid earlier in the timeline but if for any reason, the payment doesn't show up .. you have the receipt and they can process it right there.

Same thing here, received DM January 21st haven't heard anything yet.

Guess Vancouver office is quite busy.

hello everyone! we submit our application last november 2013 and it's 14 months now but we haven't receive AOR yet. is this normal? i'm just worried with our application.
