Congrats post-kt!

I received GCMS notes today for our file and it clearly shows they've completed everything. So basically they are sitting on the file not sending out our DM ... very frustrating!

Next to our medical it says passed - expired , but they never did ask us to renew our medical. We did the medical when we applied last July 29, 2013 and it would have expired July 2014 before we even received AIP. If they wanted us to redo they would have let us know when they issued AIP correct?

Me too. I called CIC this morning with a very nice agent. She told me that my file is complete and now it is in the review room. But we don't get any DM until now. I applied on 6 June 2013 and AOR was 7 July.

In fact ecas shows medicals received so i guess we will just have to wait. Ive seen aip letters which mentioned about medicals that need to be redone so, we are good. Got a question though. In the aip letter it says about medicals of family members accompanying or not. I was never married and have no kids so i dont need to do anything right? Family members are not siblings or parents, right?

I called CIC and they told me that my OWP was already sent it on December 31.

Has anybody already received their Work Permit from that date? I saw that there are several of us on that lot.

Good question... i'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe you'd require any other medicals unless your spouse had children. I think you are okay. Maybe someone else can weigh in?

I was a silent observer of this forum
i want to share that today i got my work permit! happy happy happy. even though my ECAS doesn't show anything (it says in process - as it was long time ago)
Also my work permit has Remarks on the bottom : PENDING FC APR. Does anyone know what that is?

i want to share my timeline you can add me to the list as well
Application received: September 11, 2013
Med and police sent: February 2014 (they received it)
OWP : received Jan 8th 2015 ( dated 2 Jan 2015 )

correct. "family members" as it's used here means anyone else included in the PR application. (ie: children or when 2 spouses are being sponsored by a 3rd person). it does not refer to the sponsor-spouse, siblings, parents, or other relatives.
