I just spoke with an agent from call center and confirmed me that they have been issued my OWP on 31 December 2014 under the pilot program and that I have no restriction cause I have done my medical.
Can't believe it till I'll see it. Hope to have it by the end of the week.

Hello! congratz!!

Can i ask one question. Date application received was September 19th? did you submit your OWP along with your application originally? or did you send it in separate?

thanks

Since their application was sent on 28 Aug, I suspect that the actual AOR date was much closer to that date. Their timeline shows that the AOR was received on that date, which would make sense.

Hi ,
I am a September 2013 applicant. My husband and I applied inland on September 30, 2013. We sent it to Vegreville and Sent to Mississagua on March 7, 2014.
Today, I checked my Ecas (I am the sponsor and didn't know that sponsors receive their own Ecas profile) and it says that our application is been in process October 21, 2013, while in my Husband's Ecas it says Application Received.
I would like to know if it is normal for an application to be in process that long ( just over a year). Why is it taking this long?? We sent a work permit along with our application and our lawyer have told us That we are are not eligible for the OWP pilot program.
I would appreciate any insights from you.

I called about 4 or 5 times till I get through. I'm sure that you will get it too very soon but a confirmation from the call center would be good just to be sure that they have your OWP in the system as we know that CIC is full of surprises.

By the way on 31th of december when I called, an agent tolled me that there is nothing in my file, no OWP  . That is the reason way I called again today, at least to make someone look at my file and find the OWP and registering in to my file.

Anyway, it is such a relief to know that at least you CAN work. It is like I get out of a prison after being unjustifiably convicted. This whole process it is just so unfair. On the other hand, applying outland and being far from my husband but, having a work and all the benefits of my home country .... it would have been even worse. I guess.

It is such a good thing that now the sponsored person will have at least the write to work after AOR. Hoping that they are not going to increase the time for issuing AOR.

Thank you guys. Thanks to all of you that made this happen by putting pressure on CIC through every way you could.

You definitely are eligible for the OWP under the pilot program in case that your lawyer send it along with your PR application. Give a call to CIC and ask about the status of your OWP. Maybe is mailed already.

Since my sept date is AFTER the Aug 28th processing date shown on the website, i have a feeling that they will not have my OWP in their system yet... similar to your situation. i'll call anyways

I don't think that the date shown on the website has anything to do with the pilot program.
A friend of mine told me that she have a confirmation from the call center that they've issued her OWP and she is an October applicant.

And congrats to all those people who received their OWP and DM recently. No AIP though, eh?
If I'm right Aug 29 was the last date who got it.

Hey RRSweet I haven't heard anything yet when I spoke to a call centre agent half way through last month they told me to call back if we haven't heard anything by Jan 15th I think the agent just picked a random date out of the sky to get me off the line.

Really happy to see some people actually getting DM it is a good sign they would be the first ones to get DM from CPC-M on this forum so far.

Have you called the call centre RRSweet ?
Hey Woodyc ... no haven't called because 8 months for me isn't until April 8th. I'm just getting concerned as people like yourself have been waiting 11 months without DM. sigh... just want this all to end. I really hope you hear something soon. Let me know how the conversation goes on January 15th...it definitely seems like they are just throwing out random dates...but we need to demand answers... it's getting ridiculous!
