When i log in to ecas

it says "we received your application Sept 18th 2013"

below that it says "we started processing your application Oct 3 2013"

AOR is the top one right??? whats the Oct 3rd date for then?

For some, they add the "started processing..." line when they put the file in eCAS, so basically when you receive the AOR email. But not everyone has this line.

Can I ask what have you write on the envelope beside the address, cause I will have to send more proofs this week too ?

I am the sponsor singing in as the sponsor

It basically means nothing. just that they have started the sponsorship assessment. It doesn't mean anything, that they are doing anything, just that they checked a box.

Congratulations! When did you receive DM?

Has anyone recently received DM and have Ottawa contact you for the landing interview?

My DM was received on Oct 17 and I'm still waiting for the interview to be scheduled..... What's going on CIC Ottawa?!

Good news guys.

Landing interview scheduled for Jan 7, 2015. At Calgary office :'D I'm so happy.

The letter asked to bring an attested copy of my passport (which is expired and has been for a while) does any body know what involves landing on an expired passport?

If you don't know the history CBSA/CIC has my passport from a previous refugee application and I couldn't renew it because my embassy wouldn't without the old one being released. I had documented this and sent all correspondence to CIC prior to DM.

Guys a quick question. Our eCas was updated with Medical Received. Does this mean that they accept the medicals (I ask becoz it is more than a year old). Any thoughts... thanks for your help.

I check my sponsor's e-cas on the same place were I check mine here ://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=

I think that when they write " We received your application ... " it means AOR
and when it says " we started processing your application... " on the sponsored person it should be AIP

I will soon be applying to change conditions of my stay from worker to visitor. Anyone been through that process know what you get from CIC? Do they request your passport or just send a letter?

Under family sponsorship, click sponsoring spouse common law inside canada, then put the info of sponsor, hus uci, birthday, and place of birth, then youll have his details. I just checked mine and showed up.
Its basically the same page when you check yours as applicant, you just need to put sponsor's details.
Have you called again to cgeck your owp?

I heard Calgary office is slow but this has been fast for me. I will just be going over things again and again to make sure I bring everything to the appointment.

It appears the same on my e-cas although i did not received AIP yet and they asked me for more proofs. I think that they accepted the medical ( 16 month old) otherwise I assume they would have been asked for redoing the medical too.

We are August 16th applicant. We were asked to send marriage certificate and additional documents to proof relationship on Nov 10th. We sent them to CPC-M on Nov 20th by Xpresspost. I checked from Canada Post website that they received it on Nov 25th. It's now been almost a month and still no answer from CPC. I also sent couple of emails to the same email address and still no answer.
