So I sent an email to my MP the other day and he replied today with one attachment for me to sign and send it to intake ON along with my whole application for PR. What do you think guys, Is he doing the right thing? Lol..

I'm not sure how they supposed to work, but I see a lot of responses are for individual cases. They missing the point I guess, we are inquiring why the process went from 6 to 14 months in the last year, and we want them to speed up in general, since they stuck in the same date for quite some time. I don't want the MP to check my file alone, because there's a lot of people in front of me, and I want them to start working to get to my process. I feel like the MP deal with it like it's only happening with your file. We want them to ask questions to CIC about their process delays!

Just to be clear I was being sarcastic. That is a ridiculous response and the fact that it just seems to be accepted by the official CIC critic really boils my biscuit.

just checked cic online...and this is what it says:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 13, 2013.

We started processing your application on January 9, 2014.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I don't think I' m going to bother getting an MP now. I feel like something is coming good pretty soon. LOL (my weird vive I guess). The MP office that I was emailing today was telling me to go to their office and sign something. I just feel like its a waste of my time. So, I will just wait.

ok...the status online changed sometime between last wednesday and this monday....this morning, i received an email stating that my landing interview is next wednesday!!! eek!! i am very nervous and excited!

Congratulations! There is nothing to be nervous about. Bring your spouse, your passport and anything else with visa foils attached, if you have them.

ok...the status online changed sometime between last wednesday and this monday....this morning, i received an email stating that my landing interview is next wednesday!!! eek!! i am very nervous and excited!

Congratulations! It means that they are going to work on my file soon too!!!!!

i thought landing letter you should only get it from snail mail no ??? but i still happy for you that mean cpc-v still working

People are getting answers from CIC, for all the ones waiting just hold on , it may be slow but it is sure to come, nothing last forever............

If you are calling CIC, better call in the morning no line ups. Just sharing info, Anyways, anymore who is waiting their landing in Ottawa. Going 12 weeks since my DM in July 11, i called this morning and their are no activities from my application since then. The agent says I need to call back after 3 months if I did not hear from CPC -ottawa.

More torture for me. I guess this is the point i need to contact minister's office. Hate this process...

In 2014 inland thread someone has an update that his/her applicatio was started PROCESSING SEPTEMBER 24, 2014. HMMM is CIC working randomly? Lol..
