Have had Decision Made since January 8, 2014.

Emailed a complaint to the local MP, and they are saying they can't do anything about it unfortunately, and they were informed she would have her permanent residence by January 2015 as there is a 12 month processing time...

Is there anything else that can be done lol? I can't seem to understand how a 10 minute interview can take a year to arrange...

Did you pay ur RPRF yet ? if u do ~ i think you should sent e-mail and copy RPRF recipet and give them ur uci number and tell them u didn't get any landing paper since you got DM at Jan 2014 .. so maybe this gonna help

Maybe you'e looking at people who got their AOR is Aug? Jen1975 applied on July 22nd (the day CIC physically receive your application) and got her AOR (letter from CIC saying they officially acknowledge that they received your application) on Aug 15.

This would only be the case if they applied Outland. Applicants who are IN Canada and applied with and Inland App from August 2013 do not have approvals yet unfortunatly.

There has not been even ONE August approval from this forum, and this forum is a very accurate way to know what dates they are processing, even more accurate than the CICs updates.

When ppl are getting approvals on here you will later on see the date move up on the CIC website, when no one is getting approvals, the date doesn't move.


As well, no August applicants even have AIP, let alone DMs and actual PR status.

Everything was fully paid upfront. When we contacted them directly in June they said there was nothing wrong with our account/status. They only told us to wait.

Have you changed addresses since you started your applications?
Some people have reported their landing letters getting sent to old addresses even after they notified CIC of a change in address?

I haven't changed addresses. Really want to move, but purposely stayed at the same place to avoid issues.

Hi Forum friends, anyone can tell me how does the OWP arrive if you submitted this with Inland sponsorship? Do you get it in the snail mail or via email along with the AIP confirmation? Hoping to get AIP this week or next, and will need to renew my SIN number right away as soon as I get the OWP so was wondering how long it takes after AIP...
Also, I am not on the spreadhseet, just realized that, not sure If I can just add myself or if someone controls that one? Applied July 31, 2013, AOR August 27th, 2013, medicals submitted along with OWP with application. Police Checks not submitted as I have to wait for first stage approval according to CIC.

Hi Scarlett_R, I'm July 31 applicant and have not heard anything from CIC. Called last week and today, no updates. Check ecas weekly, no updates yet. Nothing to report unfortunately, I'm not on the spreadsheet though. Sorry I have no positive news to report!

I was having a crappy day mulling over damn immigration but your post made me laugh and cheer up!
Sigh... I rememeber being all excited that I would be working this summer back when they were processing a month a week.
