If anyone is even looking after the 2013 timeline spreadsheet anymore I applied for my OWP online yesterday 14/7/2014 can you pls update.
I totally forgot to ask the CIC call agent yesterday but if by some sort of miracle i get DM and a landing date lol before I receive my OWP do i get a refund on my OWP app fee ? Anyone know ?

It really depends on the local CIC office. Some offices has sent an landing letter stating that RPRF have to be paid before coming to appointment. Others have mentioned that they can pay for it at landing. Not all office have the capability for you to pay at landing appointment. Much the same as the SIN processing booth at landing office.

I had one person waiting for landing appointment only to be told that the office won't schedule an appointment until the fee was paid first. Not sure which person or office that was at.

Screech as you mentioned some offices have SIN processing booths. Have you heard of people getting a SIN# at a service Canada office without PR card. I know the website says you need it but wondering if some people have gotten away with just using a COPR document.

Also being a permanent resident entitles you to work in Canada so do you think Service Canada would care if you used an expired SIN number from a previous work permit while waiting a PR card. I'm curious to what happens when an Inlander is able to work due to Implied Status, has an expired temp SIN number and then lands. Technically implied status has ended and their SIN number is no longer valid but obviously people don't stop working in this case.

As I already shared that CIC took only 1 photograph from me and returned the other one to me, do you think I should be worried??
I just don't want any delays in receiving my PR card?

Hi everyone, I landed today in Edmonton. We arrived very early today but there were already 2 people waiting before us. Our letter says 9-10 am so by 9 they opened the doors and let us in and asked us to line up in the order we came in .. There was no confusion for us but I imagine there were a lot in the back as to who came first. We were called in the booth to make sure we brought the correct photos and that we paid our rprf. We were then re directed to the lobby until our names are called. The first person went downstairs so the next inline was us. We got directed in a room, the questions were... have you committed any crime in canada or outside of canada, any dependent to declare no and no then signed my COPR. I have condition 51 but it doesn't affect us.. I signed the document and then congrats I'm PR! Hubby only had to show his ID that's it. Oh and she took my PGWP away :'( she said we can apply for citizenship after 4 yrs. now just waiting for Pr card before we travel again....

Anyone know if we take vacations, how do I proof I left the country and then back? Do I just ask for an exit stamp?

For those in alberta, you can just use your COPR to get your AB health care. I did that today to remove my expiry date. no more expiry dates!! yay! :-*

Hi everyone!

I just have a quick question. They received our application on December 9, 2013 and the status is still 'application received'. Will it only change to something else after the 11 month wait period or is that it? I'm just confused as I looked at a spreadsheet online and it says medicals are done, documents requested and what-not. I haven't had any of this yet! Plus, my husband is from Hong Kong and they won't send out criminal records or fingerprints without the letter requesting it from immigration. So confused and kinda nervous now.

Looking at the spreadsheet you received DM in January. What's your landing office? The most anyone on the spreadsheet who has landed has had to wait has been 100 days, and you've been almost double that. Are you in the regular stream or were you red flagged? I'm also confused as to how you received DM in Jan, but you're saying your fingerprints were received in March? Have you ordered your notes?

This is not looking good at all....Already Wednesday and no AIPs or DMs??

What the eff are they DOING over there? I live so close to the CPC-M office too, I just want to march in there and ask them!!!

Let's hope it's all ppl not on the forum who are at least getting some AIPs and DMs, because I just cannot imagine how the processing time is going to increase if they continue at this slower than a snail's pace...!!!
