I just called cic to check if they replied to the email helpline sent to cpc-m.

So the agent told me they replied back saying theyre doing additional research on my file. Should hear something in a week or two.

I really really hope this is not something bad

They USUALLY transfer files to local offices a while before the processing date right?

Yes. Dont worry, am sure you will get your good news soon. We have cases where earlier applicants were left behind but got the good news soon after. And also, remember some agents just say anything or whatever without being accurate. So claim and pray for your good news.

Thank you everyone!! I am a july 10th applicant.
AIP june 2
and requested police certificate and fingerprints shortly after. I got the fingerprints done but my pcc is still in transit.
then i got dm today

Lol...I can only imagine...I think I will be crying into our champagne when we get DM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! (Assuming we get it...I am still nervous, because we don't know how my husband's record in the US will affect the application...it's so scarry waiting and not knowing even if we will get approved or not)

I've had a random worry pop into my head recently..

I'm an October 2013 applicant, first applied in early september 2013 but my application was sent back due to missing info. My study permit expired in september (before i sent my app the first time but it was expired when I sent it back the second time.) I put that I am here on "implied status" since my app was mailed before my permit expired. Would they try to argue I am not here on "implied" since I had to submit it a second time? What's the likelihood of this causing me trouble? I've been here for 5 1/2 years and have been waiting for AIP like most of you so I can work. I can't take any heartbreaking news from CIC so maybe my mind is getting the best of me. Figured i'd ask anyways.

I have never actually seen the 2013 spreadsheet. The reason for this is because i always view these forums from work and because of security things it wont let me open the file!

can someone see if i'm on there. My date should be Sept 18th.
