I got AIP and an open work permit! I have been an advid reader of these forms and despite not posting many times. I thank you all for this support group! Reading all of your stories and posts has kept me sane during this process.

it wasnt long ago that we were complaining 'NO ONE HAS RECEIVED AIP OUT OF CPC-M" ...now we have 4 today!

5hr5wd - They're probably reviewing your application today!! there are more than 1 agent reviewing applications so some may move faster than others... your will get good news soon!!


Side question..what does it look llike when you DONT get AIP...ive never seen anyone post the letter on here or show the wording if the sponsor does not qualify.

Take a look at the CIC publication, IP08 (~ page 45) to see samples of refusal letters.

"We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Canada Immigration Centre in Etobicoke will contact you concerning your permanent resident
status."

Congrats to all those receiving good news......

Alright, I finally landed today at Etobicoke office

My appointment was at 9.15am. We arrived at 8.45 and was told that the systems are down so we will have to wait. At around 11.30 am they asked to leave after giving contact nos, saying the landing interview will be rescheduled for mid-July. This really disappointed me. But, no choice we left.

But I guess it is a lucky day, I received a call at 1.30pm asking if we can reach their office ASAP. I checked with my husband since he went to his office. In exactly 45 minutes we arrived. In 10 minutes the interview was over

M sooooo relieved and feeling better. 2 sleepless nights has paid well ;D

Just cleared G1 driving test too.......

All the very best to all those waiting. Would love to hear good news from you guys too.

I can't help but get excited now, lots of good news today! It would be amazing if they keep up this progress. I know it may just be a coincidence we're hearing all this great news in one day, but we can always hope!
