We received our GCMS notes today and they have done nothing on our file. Everything says "not started." CIC received our application July 29th, 2013. Makes me wonder when exactly they plan to start working because they haven't convinced me that they are doing anything. I can only hope Thursday shows progress.

When did your file reach CPC-M registry?
9 months not doing anything at all on our files = unacceptable

reached CPC-M registry February 5,2014. So it's just been sitting collecting dust for close to 3 months now.

Sorry to be blunt, but that's expected. When almost everyone who submitted their applications 9-10+ months ago have had no progress noted, of course they're not going to be doing much 2014 files.

I'd be interested to see what the case notes say on a July 2013 applicant; We've ordered ours.

RRSweet is a July 2013 applicant. It's been three months at CPC-M with nothing for them.

Both electronic and paper files reach CPC-M feb 12 for me. My new set of GCMS should come later this week or early next week though. Will update then (if any)

chances are you will get both stages approved at the same time (my situation was similar).
P.S. Just checked you haven't done your medicals yet so both stages won't be approved at the same time.

you right!, it says security screening done by rcmp,..SPR eligibility not started though but my ecas still says application received. i think everything depends on the officer in charge of your file.

I’m wondering if anyone can shed a bit of light for me on Ordering the GCMS notes online via the Government website. I tried to do so, (I am the sponsor), and I got this email back from them….I’m not quite sure what I did wrong? Because as the sponsor, I want to see what’s been done on the first stage of the application….which is “my” half of the application anyways…correct?!? Can anyone give me some more info on what they filled in/checked off to get their GCMS notes??? Did you have to fill all this out that they are asking for???

This is the email I got:
