Hey gang so in my AIP email it's says a final decision will not be made till fee's medical & security checks are done & paid. I sent them in altogether with my initial app & paid my fee's upfront.
I know in some people's AIP email it has a [x] check mark next to the documents they have to send in.
My AIP email has no check marks or anything.
So my question is the AIP email they sent me is just a generic email & cic is not asking for any other documents? Cause when I log onto my ECAS it says medical received on the ECAS site.

hi, don't worry we had the same e-mail for our AIP , i called cic twice time i thought i need new medical but they told me that i must to wait when the second step finished can take 8 month they will contact me for any information or more documents;but after 20 days from AIP we got DM ,i didn't need to make other medical , then i think you must to wait ,you can call cic for more questions good luck

We did retain a lawyer and as of yesterday the lawyer was very confident our the interview, specifically saying "we will be good" and that he cleaned up a lot of the issues between Tuesday and Wednesday. Still feeling very nervous, unsure what to expect but with the lawyer there with us I will feel a lot better.

It says working on June 25th 2013, applications.

Guys, hubby got an email today. He's worried and thinks it's an interview, I think it's DM. Can anyone reflect on this?

This letter refers to your application for permanent residence under the spouse or common-law
partner in Canada class.

We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The
Canada Immigration Centre in HALIFAX will contact you concerning your permanent resident
status.

Please note: At the time of your appointment, you and your family members, if any, will
be required to present the original identification document(s) to the Canada Immigration
Centre. A final decision concerning the granting of permanent residence status will be
made at that time. If permanent residence is granted, the name that will appear on the
confirmation of permanent resident document is your name as it appears on your
passport or identity documents.
