I was told it takes 8 business days for CIC to receive the results. I wouldn't be worried yet, but maybe call them if it's not uploaded by the end of the week.

Oh yeah so today is the 8th business day....hmm....maybe there will be something there tomorrow. I tried to call them yesterday but they still haven't started processing his OWP (sent dec 27th/13) which included user of representative so I can call on my husband's behalf (I am far more impatient than he is!). The CIC agent told me that they haven't started processing it, the use of representative hasn't been added to the file yet either so therefore she couldn't give me any information on whether or not it shows on her end that the meds have been received. Blah.

I can totally relate to your impatience! It just seems like one thing after another in a seemingly endless process. You're almost done though! Hang in there!

Hi Guys! I applied for my PR in September 2013 - now i need to apply for visa extension as i will be out of status in april 2014. i am a bit confused - WHERE i would send this application - as a grounds for my extension visa is my pr application for spousal sponsorship? so do i send it to Vegreville as well or ottawa? and if anyone filed it recently please attach a link to the forms - i am confused with their new cic website .

Thanks!! We've heard nothing from them! squat since receiving AIP in November!! Meds just went in late January so I'm hoping once they get those the wheels will start turning again! I just can't wait for a peaceful life with my husband and be like "normal people" lol!!

Here is the link to the site:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/visitor.asp

You will see the online option. Simply upload the files they ask for, pay the $75.00 processing fee and you're good to go! I included an explanation letter, which is not required, but I figured it couldn't hurt. I got my extension via snail mail about 5 weeks later.

I included a letter of explanation, although it isn't required.

If you have any specific questions, let me know. I'll do my best to answer them.

Interesting read. It's as I thought. Very subjective. Thanks for posting!

I will admit...I kinda want to cry. All this time and then to get skipped over. Bummer.

Oh, well. Chin up. Tomorrow is another day!

Oh yes, very subjective. Every application is different and every VO is different.

Hope all goes well for all of us.
