Hello Mimssimo, I am from Montreal too (in Villeray). I have some questions for you. Where do you take a medical exam? I meant the good and cheap one? and how much did you pay for that? To apply for the OWP, did you apply first for CAQ? I am the June applicant. Thanks you and congratulation for your very good news :)

For my medical exam, you have Clinique Luso mont royale, its normal and I think it's 250$, yes I apply for OWP with my application, non CAQ, you can send me um mail private, if you have the time in the week we can take un coffee tougher lol, I work in Montreal centre

Note that this is now the brave new world. As of January 20, 2014, inland applications are sent to CPC-M and CPC-M does not accept temporary status applications. Thus, open work permits and that long period of implied status are a thing of the past it would seem.
Oh yeah, I read about it the other day, so they not gonna take OWP apps at all from now or its not confirmed yet?

Congrats mimssimo and folks-g :) Happy for you guys ;D

Congrats to everyone on their AIP/OWP/DM!

CIC is really picking up the slack here! :) Still waiting on my actual AIP email that they were supposed to resend. I'll have to call them on Friday if I don't get anything by then. I'm not sure if they need anything extra if I don't have that email with the details on it. :/

Oh not too expensive. I am thinking about applying for OWP or extend the visitor visa since the study permit will be expired on mid-March 2014. BTY after getting the AIP, we have to maintain our legal status in Canada or AIP is also a status? Thanks you for your useful info :)

I'm trying to order my Notes because my application being transferred to a local office but I having problem getting my notes can somebody help me? Because I'm trying on the application won't go through

Hilo,

You can order them online here: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en

It's not very hard just look up how to order them. Make sure the sponsor orders them online as he or she can get both notes on the sponsor and applicant. Make sure the applicant signs off on the consent for information so the sponsor can order both notes.

Best of luck!

When you send your application, I think next week cic begin to work on jun apllication, you need to maintain a statut legal in canada, you can doing visit medical now and probably you get AIP ans DM the seme time.

Typically, "Medicals results have been received" line is added after receiving AIP.
You shouldn't include any info. which is not being requested for the OWP app. in my opinion. There is an option to include a letter of explanation if you need to clarify anything.
My app. was received May 23 and doesn't show medical results have been received yet.

Good to know. That is how the process works.
Thank you for sharing the information.
