It is unbelievable how the pace has picked up really - they are working even on weekends. It will be a great year for all of us!

It really is unbelievable and I don't envy the job they have to do either. I'm sure its strenuous and stressful at times! Hats off to the hard working CIC team!

Meds are getting done this Thursday so I imagine after the exam results are sent we have nothing more to wait for other than the DM! exciting/scary/nerve wracking all at the same time!

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Hope everyone gets good news..

Good Tuesday morning everyone.
I just called CIC and waiting time is only 10 minutes, not bad. Anyway, i just wanted to confirm that my address has been changed in the system as When I checked my ecas last September, it picked up my old billing address when i applied for my visitors visa, and i was worried after reading in a lot of comments that even if you have updated on ecas, some still had their "old billing address on file". the agent confirmed that my address has been updated. Also, I asked him if a document has been been matched on my file as I submitted it later than the original app, he said that the file has not been opened but call back this last week of Feb, nothing to worry about). Hmmm. Im an August 2013 app so, I am not panicking yet lol.
hope to hear lots of good news today.

On the phone with CIC at the moment as well. Just calling to confirm my email (as it was wrong before) and to make sure additional unrequested documents that I'd sent in December had been joined up with the original app. I'm also planning on asking about the status of my file, I'm always so nervous about asking anything about the file - I don't want them to think I'm harassing them. LOL

EDIT: I don't like to rag on CIC agents but the person I had on the phone just now was the worst CIC agent I have spoken to since starting this process and calling in a few times. I could hardly understand what he was saying. He wasn't friendly at all and when I asked if he could comment on the status of my application he told me that "there was nothing to comment on. They are still processing March 16th applications, ma'am." Which we know is NOT true. He couldn't even tell me if my additional documents sent in December were joined up with my original application. UGH. I'm getting so frustrated with this. I really hope there's a processing date update on the CIC website soon. /rant.

Mrs_Canuck.. i feel your pain, all the agents seem to ask first when you applied, if its later than the current processing time they will not even bother looking into your file, they will just say to call back in few weeks or when your processing time is updated.. just frustrading after waiting on the line for 20 - 30 min.

No offense to anyone here, if the website listed a specific date of working on applications and your application was received after the date listed, you shouldn't be calling CIC about your status of application. You are wasting your time and effort. You would get the same answer they give to everyone that has a date after the website date. "Call back when the website reaches your date.". You would be wasting your breath and time on the phone with CIC when you got better things to do.

I understand Screech, but if you send additonal docuemtns and want to make srue they have received it how would you confirm that.. just assume.i guess..

I posted this in the 2012 thread but maybe someone here can shed some light as well!

We did not submit medical with PR application but received the request for meds along with AIP in late November. My husband had them done last week and they will be sent to CIC electronically.

My question is, in a case like this, how long does it take to get DM after they receive the med report? I've looked at the spreadsheet but can't really tell. Please help with an answer if you can. Thanks!
