While technically true, visa officers often ask for a PCC from the country of birth anyway. So while not required, it is a good idea to get one pre-emptively if you can reasonably do so.jn0t703 said:Hello and Congrats to everyone with good news!
I have a question about the police check. My wife came to Canada as a foreign exchange student before she's 18 (she's still is a foreign exchange student); is it true that she does not need a police check from her own country?
Also, does anyone have experience sponsoring a foreign exchange student? Is there anything I should be on a lookout for?
Many thanks in advance for the helps.
