I got my AIP yesterday morning and this morning I got my DM which is amazing! I did an upfront medical, I submitted it together with my application.

Yes, you are right! I checked E-cas yesterday and today too and its always been the same. It was never updated, it just says when my application was received which is February 20, 2013 and nothing else.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! Congrats to all the members who received AIP/DM/OWP this past week! We are just digging ourselves out of the Nor'easter that walloped the Maritimes... ugh. Only 73 days until Spring!

Line.a, have you heard anything yet? At this rate I hope that when you hear word, you'll have AIP/DM. It's possible that some agents just work slower than others. :/

I have just submitted my In-Land application with with OWP. When do I receive my ECas information?

When do I receive my username and password so I can keep checking my Status on the application?

When do I receive my username and password so I can keep checking my Status on the application?

You need a UCI number (Unique Client Identifier number) to check your status on ECAS. You will need to enter a combination of information onto ECAS (UCI, Surname, date of birth, Country of Birth) to login. You will not receive a specific 'Username' and 'Password' combination. So all you're really waiting for at this point is your UCI which will come to you in the same notification when you receive your AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt).

Nothing yet, we still have to pay the rest of the fee as well as go get a medical exam done. I'm gonna give them a call if I don't hear back after the 10th :/

Was wondering if CIC contacts the sponsor's work place anytime during the process to check the eligibility. my husband is willing to change his job but we want to be sure. Do we need to send an update to CIC if there is a this change in job ?

Holy cow I just checked ecas and it says "Decision Made" under Sponsorship Application Status next to my name (I'm the sponsor). The applicants status is "In Process" and has been updated with Medical Results Received. It seems to be moving along now!

We are filling out the OWP application. It says we need to send proof of medical exam. The doctor's office didn't give her any paperwork, but do we really need to provide it considering they have already received the results?
