We got ours in the mail. We haven't received any emails from CIC at all even tho we have made sure our email addresses are correct on their side but still we didn't receive any just paper mail.

Snail mail is just regular post, instead of email.

Regular mail delivered by the postman/woman to a mailbox.

*Sigh* Sent out our extra papers last week and they reached Vegreville in record time! They were signed for and now all I have to do is call CIC on Monday to make sure that the additional (unrequested) documents were joined up with our original application. Yay, I can't wait to be on hold with CIC first thing on a Monday morning [/sarcasm].

Hey guys. Still waiting for the landing letter here, hoping our stupid consultant doesn't "think it isn't important" and doesn't tell us about it.

A bit of an update on whats been going on with me. After receiving his OWP, my hubby got a job within a week. Soon we'll be moving into an apartment together and living a normal life.. We are very lucky. I hope you all get good news soon. I hate to see everyone still waiting.

We are still from the FBI in the states to send my hubby's fbi certificate anytime this month so we can submit it to CIC.. don't know how long it'll take the states and after that don't know how long more it'll take CIC... my husband found a job too but it really isn't worth it so he's looking for another job now... and I'm leaving for mat leave in a week... tough times again... I'm glad your papers were received by CIC hopefully they won't take too long to process your PR app now all the best and best wishes for the Christmas and New Years coming ahead I hope this New Years brings all of us good luck and good news .

Good to know your husband found a job and moved out already... we are still waiting on that.... *sigh*...
I'm sure if you guys weren't requested more info from CIC than you should receive your landing interview date soon too . still all the best and best wishes

I need to know how much exactly time they are taking for Inland spousal sponsorship as I notice in 2012 they were fast. ppl got their PR with in a year but in 2013 its taking long...

My mother passed away this morning.

I truly don't have words to describe the situation where, on top of having to cope with this, I also must even consider that by leaving to go to her funeral I might be also jeopardizing the last year of my life.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of your mother! I can't even imagine your pain, if you need to talk about it don't hesitate at any time, we will listen. It's a grey area traveling home, I have considered it myself since my grandfather has cancer and don't have long left! I honestly think that if you can prove to them (just in case they grill you when you come back) then you can prove you went for a very big reason, and I believe that every officer should have a kind heart and understand, that there are certain circumstances for cases like these. Yet again. I am truly sorry to hear about your loss, big hugs from here!
