CONGRATS!! to all the 2013 applicants who have been receiving their AIP's, OWP's and DM's!!! It was getting a little lonely being the only one in the AIP column of the spreadsheet for so long and I am so glad to see there is finally some movement. I know how excited you all must be as it is a wonderful feeling to finally get that letter.
Truth be told, for us, AIP was more exciting than getting the PR.. getting AIP/OWP made life 'normal' for us since hubby was allowed to work, and apply for a SIN# and health care (besides the fact that for us, it put him back into status alleviating most of our worry and stress). And with that said, it made the wait for part 2 (DM & PR) seem not so bad. Just a word of encouragement.. we were only 6 months from AIP to PR once our file got to the local office!! What I have noticed is, the estimated wait times and date on the CIC website is very unpredictable and it changes a lot, so don't fret about that becuz it may even change again (hopefully to a shorter wait). Things seem to be moving right along now and I am excited to read all of the good news lately on this forum!
Let's keep those 2013 AIP's coming in!!

Wow lots of good news! Congrats everyone, I am so happy for you!
I am still waiting.... went to see our consultant yesterday because I was freaking out and she said not to worry, everything will be fine as ours is a very simple case. She said we should have our AIP this week or next and she will call as soon as the e-mail comes. I thought CIC had mine and hubby's e-mail addresses, but apparently they only have our consultant's....which SUCKS, because what if the e-mail comes while she is out of the office for the day?! Oh well.
Anyway, I was getting kinda worried since I'm a Jan. 17th applicant and haven't had any news, but...I'm sure we would know by now if something was wrong.

Im lucky that we now reside in Nova Scotia so I didnt even have to wait for AIP!
But I still cant wait to get AIP. Congratz to your AIP btw.

I don't post very often but We got AIP! ;D. I actually got the email yesterday, but I didn't check it until early this morning.
The police check and OWP were submitted with the application. My husband just need to do his medicals now.
