Ortom, every time I see you post I'm so on edge - I feel like once you get your AIP that means that the rest of us will start getting ours. We're all rooting for you.

From what I've seen with others experiences, you'll probably get yours tomorrow as the sponsor always gets approved just before the applicant received notification.

Thank you. On my ecas, the app was received on July 30, 2013, and they started processing on Aug 23, 2013.

Yes she can extent her stay in Canada while it is in process. But when she delivery your baby without health card, she will pay alot (between 6000$ to 14000$). My wife got pregnant after 4 months that we applied for PR but she got the AIP after 3 months of pregnancy, thus she got her health card and pay 0$. Hope that would help you and if you have more questions about that, please reply to my quote in order to let me know.

Yes she can ............

I got pregnant when my application was in process but I had no health care because in Quebec you have to be a PR before you can get your health card so I had to pay for everything which cost almost $10 000.00

This could be more if a C-section is done but when my baby was born she was covered by her father until she got her card which came almost 3 month by snail mail

Hey guys, quick question:

I did my upfront medical recently as my previous one expired. Do I need to mail the medical receipt to CIC? Or the documents that the doctor send straight to CIC are enough?
