Guys I saw the pr card processing time have changed to 37 days which make me happy .
How many on you guys have received the pr card.hw long it took

Hi guys.., I have a good news . Finally my email is working n we received hubby medical request forms and the immigration Calgary has completed hubby criminality check. So now we are left with only medicals.

I know that the time varies but does anyone know how long after medicals received by cic does a person receive landing letter for PR?

Well.. they received my medical right in two weeks.. my medical date was Feb 26, 2014 and it was updated on ECAS on March 12, 2014 and they also confirmed that they received my PCC on March 21, 2014 but no DM
yet. They received everything they requested from us. Now we r just waiting for DM.. :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :'( :'(

lol no mine will be in October 2014, but i m paranoid i do not want to wait that long. Especially when i see majority of ppl got their DM very soon less than 2 months after the AIP

No news from Montreal yet :S Im sick of waiting! i called thursday last week and they said it appeared "letter sent" in my file but nothing has got here... If no news tomorrow, i will call again! let me know if you do hear something!

@Rifat! Happy to see that you are advancing! when will your hubby redo his medicals? My timeline has been smooth so I dont know if it will help you but when i got AIP (jan 7th) I was requested medicals and fingerprints.. i did both on jan 9th. Then I got DM on feb 28th.. so 51 days after AIP on an incomplete file (didnt sent fingerprints and medicals upfront) In my DM letter said that Montreal office will contact me, but nothing yet.. is over a month.. and nothing.. but they said offices have 2 months to program landing after DM, so im patiently waiting

Yes I'm very happy finally things a advancing but still a bit scared n nervous. Hubbys medicals is on this Saturday and blood test on Tuesday April 8th. I'm hoping to hear an answer by end of April for medical received and hopefully dim or landing letter by end of may because the case processing officer who sent us the letters I believe she's handling our file said only medical is outstanding everything else has been cleared so once that received we should hear for an answer soon for dm / landing letter.

I called CIC on Monday to check the status of our application......the agent took my application details and put me on hold. After few minutes he said " the reason I have not heard anything as of now is not because they have forgotten about us but because they are working on our file. And if all goes well, I should hear from them by the end of This April or starting of May"

I called them today to ask about some supplemental documentation we submitted and got the same story after giving my UCI and file numbers: Expect some movement on the file between April 21st and May 26th, and call if nothing received after that........but I take anything the call centre says with a massive grain of salt at this point.

Still, I lived in the States awaiting permanent residency there for over 5 years, so the time to sponsor my wife here in Canada doesn't seem that bad in comparison

Canada aint better in everything than US for PR. Maybe time wise Canada is good, but hey, at the end of the day we need money to wait for that god damned PR, and Canada dont let us work in the country while waiting. Isnt that RETARDED ?

I know it's very difficult for all of us.....I have not been working too....but, I guess if u have work visa while ur application is being processed u can continue working. I don't think even USA would allow u to work if you don't have a valid visa for that??

I've just received Montreal Office letter asking me to confirm my info and send pictures.
The letter was posted in April, 01 so I guess you gonna get it soon as well!!!

Hey Danib congrats! im really jelaous happy for you! Hey, you told me you were outside montreal? or in montreal?
im guessing that has something to do with the delays in the post...

I know it's very difficult for all of us.....I have not been working too....but, I guess if u have work visa while ur application is being processed u can continue working. I don't think even USA would allow u to work if you don't have a valid visa for that??

I have friend was applying green card and he could work while wait.
But regardless, the bottom line is people in US dont need to have a Labour Market "OPINION"...
Im on IEC and my employer is applying LMO for me for a financial position. But in general the chance of LMO to be granted in my field doesnt looks great =/

Way to ruin F career =(
