Okay interesting. Your file got transferred before March 3 obviously since you got AIP Feb.17. They must have been transferring files before that date. Wonder why CPC-M is now sitting on everyone's applications.

What is the date of the letter?
Linden, am suspecting that they are not yet done with this paperwork of transferring letters. The first batch has march 3 on the brown envelope then, just read that theres march 10. Oh boy, i really really hope, other people are doing this additional load. If not, who knows when they will start with our papers. From the time that these docs were transferred to cpc m, nobody has received fresh aip, except for those lagging behind. We just saw DMs here and there. I hope Harmin is right when he said it starts midweek which is nxt week.

We may never know, but they've clearly deviated from their original OP bulletin that was posted in February...stating that only applications that had not commenced processing were being transferred.

This has to be a positive move...it just has to be.

You know I'm thinking that myself. CPC-M is meant to be faster processing according to the CIC but since this whole CPC-V to CPC-M transfer thing it's come to a grinding halt for everyone it seems

Woodyc got the AIP email from Mississauga CPC , so his application was not commenced yet when he got transferred . And the Vegreville officers have been sending notification letters this past week and this week we are on now . But if Mississauga is not issuing notification letters , why are they not giving more AiPs ? As Vegreville was ? Or probly they are not done organizing all those piles of apps that they received . I also wonder what's gonna happened with CPC -V officers that were doing Family class applications ? Are they loosing their job ? Or they are probably in the process to find a house in a neighbourhood close to CPC -M . I just hope they don't lose their job , they were doing great before all this transfer started .

Actually woodyc was in the March 3 batch and he got AIP Feb 17. His AIP email came from the Mississauga office.

Received the brown envelope dated Mar 3, 2014, blah blah blah...BUT...

It was addressed to the applicant and shows a UCI number for the applicant (which we weren't expecting to have until AIP).

This leads me to believe that the sponsor portion of the application did NOT transfer to CPC-M. Does that seem feasible?

Hey I've been thinking the same , but take all that effort to separate forms and other documents?

Considering that 80% of the application `package' is geared toward the applicant and the relationship proof, it's not too hard to imagine.

They don't need much to approve a sponsor (at least it's my assessment) and need to spend a lot more time on the applicant and the `proof'...which is where the CPC-M staff can accelerate the process.

OR It is addressed to the applicant because it's only the applicant part of the paperwork that went because they actually already did the sponsor part before the transfer and just have been seriously slacking on getting those AIP letters emailed/mailed as necessary what will all the letters they had to generate about it being forwarded to CPC-M. Maybe it was SUPPOSED to say, congratulations, your sponsor has been approved and accordingly we have transferred your application to CPC-M to finish processing. ... and someone just forgot the congratulations part....What? It could happen!

No I don't think this the case . Woodyc got AIP from CPC -M , so
