Okay interesting. Your file got transferred before March 3 obviously since you got AIP Feb.17. They must have been transferring files before that date. Wonder why CPC-M is now sitting on everyone's applications.

Linden, am suspecting that they are not yet done with this paperwork of transferring letters. The first batch has march 3 on the brown envelope then, just read that theres march 10. Oh boy, i really really hope, other people are doing this additional load. If not, who knows when they will start with our papers. From the time that these docs were transferred to cpc m, nobody has received fresh aip, except for those lagging behind. We just saw DMs here and there. I hope Harmin is right when he said it starts midweek which is nxt week.Linden said:What is the date of the letter?

Woodyc got the AIP email from Mississauga CPC , so his application was not commenced yet when he got transferred . And the Vegreville officers have been sending notification letters this past week and this week we are on now . But if Mississauga is not issuing notification letters , why are they not giving more AiPs ? As Vegreville was ? Or probly they are not done organizing all those piles of apps that they received . I also wonder what's gonna happened with CPC -V officers that were doing Family class applications ? Are they loosing their job ? Or they are probably in the process to find a house in a neighbourhood close to CPC -M . I just hope they don't lose their job , they were doing great before all this transfer started .Ponga said:We may never know, but they've clearly deviated from their original OP bulletin that was posted in February...stating that only applications that had not commenced processing were being transferred.
This has to be a positive move...it just has to be.

Hey I've been thinking the same , but take all that effort to separate forms and other documents?Ponga said:Dec 2013 Inland applicant
Received the brown envelope dated Mar 3, 2014, blah blah blah...BUT...
It was addressed to the applicant and shows a UCI number for the applicant (which we weren't expecting to have until AIP).
This leads me to believe that the sponsor portion of the application did NOT transfer to CPC-M. Does that seem feasible?

No I don't think this the case . Woodyc got AIP from CPC -M , soPonga said:Considering that 80% of the application `package' is geared toward the applicant and the relationship proof, it's not too hard to imagine.
They don't need much to approve a sponsor (at least it's my assessment) and need to spend a lot more time on the applicant and the `proof'...which is where the CPC-M staff can accelerate the process.
