Congratulations all those recently got AIP and some got DM as well!!
It's so exciting to see many happy posts here as well as the spreadsheet filled more dates by Guri!!
Thank you Guri for working on that!!

I personally calculate when my AIP's coming based on the average date from App received to AIP sampling from 2012 Oct applicants.
But I realize CIC is working way faster than my estimation because my formula shows Nov 29th AIP for Jan 22nd applicants. But that definitely couldn't be that late!! It seems like today or tomorrow that they're going to hear something!!

Finger crossed everyone, I'm so excited to see good news more and more. ;D ;D ;D

AIP, AIP, AIP, we got AIP!!! OMG everyone, I can't believe it! Minutes after I made that last post it showed up in e-mail box. I had to look at twice, I couldn't believe my eyes! I even cried! ;D

I have a question to ALL of you. How long did you wait for CIC confirmed that they recieved your applications?

I sent my application a month ago and still didnt get any emails.

Depends, some people get in a matter of weeks, some other about a month.

Some people like me (and other users) never got the AOR because the system failed to send the email.

If you are worry (and I can understand why) I'll advise you to call CIC tomorrow morning and ask an agent about it.

If you have a touch-tone telephone, you can listen to prerecorded information about CIC programs, and check the status of your application.
Call Centre agents - Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., your local time, except for statutory holidays. Services are available in French and English.
You must choose one of the first five recorded options before you can speak to an agent.

We sent our application on the 17th of January and still have not received any news. We received our AOR through the post and never received any email, but I believe CIC have both our emails. If something was wrong, they would had told you. Some agents work faster than others, maybe the agent that is reviewing your file is taking his time. You'll be fine salsa31
