the anticipation is so unreal i keep refreshing my email in hopes of good news! i can't believe how fast they're moving all of a sudden

We received ours in the normal inbox. I am sure you will receive your AIP soon, but it seems like CIC is actually processing files in order, so you may have to wait another week or two. I sure hope they'll process everyone's file ASAP .

i'm using hotmail it's either a miss or go, but i am sure it goes straight to the normal inbox folder! absolutely, but the excitement is unreal still. there's finally light at the end of the tunnel

I can feel the positive vibes here. Im so happy to read good news. Just a tip, (i dont know if it helps) but make sure to add cic email address (remember when they sent you your aor) to your contacts. That way, it will read it as a normal email and not a spam. Altho, hubby said, if you received email from them before already, then, it should read it as a normal email. Haha. I still added it in my contact list. It wont hurt to be more careful just so my email reads it as a normal one. I asked him to do the same. And he did i think this waiting game is making me more creative and resourceful. I should be!

I only received a past email from IEC Canada in Sweden back like 2 years ago, only my sponsor got the AOR email. Not sure if that's normal, but as soon as i hear from them i will definitely be doing that! Absolutely, i couldn't imagine what it would feel like if one missed this important piece of information, so i'll be checking and sorting through the spam/trash folder as well now!! ha

I've been searching for a while, you know just to see how the job market looks like. But, I still need for the OWP to arrive. I hope I get it soon. I can't wait to see my first paycheck! LOL

You would need a medical. I suspect that the OWP will list this as a restriction unless you have done the TFW healthcare specific medical.

I think what computergeek said is right, you need to go through a medical test to be able to apply for health care jobs. I'm not sure if the OWP will say what fields you can and can't work in

Hey guys! I was just wondering, do you know if I can get two jobs with an OWP? Also, is it possible t o get a driver's licence in Ontario with a just the frst stage approval? I know I can apply for OHIP with this. I wonder if it's possible for the licence as well. :-\

Hello Laylalala,

yes a drievers licence is even possible now for you with out a OWP. In ontario you just need a your passport and vistors record.

I believe so, it's an open work permit! Yes, i sure hope so, i am wanting to get my learners as well. I plan on bringing the email down to the registry as soon as i receive AIP - the same with health care
