I have entered you in the spreadsheet. Did you send police clearance and open work permit?

Thank you Rusty!

Yes, I sent both police clearance and open work permit at the same time as PR application ;)

Hi,
Pls I need help to get this sorted out. I came to Canada in 2006 as a Student on Study Permit and I did not get done school yet so I applied for OCWP and was working since beginning of last year, I got married to my wife who is Canadian in January before my OCWP expired in Sept, I tried applying for an Open Work Permit to keep working since I was not in school I could not apply for OCWP, but Work Permit was denied I was told to reapply again with LMO and restore my status and my company wont apply LMO for me because they say my position can easily be filled with a Canadian I cant go back to school yet cant really afford it, so my wife is going to sponsor me on Family Class PR, but which office do I send my application to, am Nigerian and here in Canada I was given 90 days to restore my status and apply for a permit, but we want to apply for the PR Family Class, will it work this way ?? Which office do I send my application to, the Canadian office in Missauagua or the office in Los Angeles, What do I do, Pls I need help!!!! Pls thanks a lot.

Anyone here have a similar case? they ask for renew the passport? This really freak me out :o :'(... because from my country you can't renew the passport, you need to apply for a new one and this could take up to 6 months!!! they only gives me 3 months to send the "renew" of my passport and the police clearance (this can be faster to get it) so now I'm scared because I don't want to get my aplication refused cause my passport even when is still valid :(

I applied for a new passport here in Canada as there 's no such thing as prolongation for me too. So I'm gonna apply with new passport already. But what I'm saying that Russian embassy in Toronto says it's 3 months to get a new passport. In fact they did it in 3 weeks. Maybe it's the same with yours

hi guys,
I still cannot access ECAS yet...
got AOR 2 weeks ago...

Hi JOR2012,

In our case we had an issue at first too! In that we made a mistake by using my wife's (the sponsor who got the AOR email) UCI and my d.o.b and place of birth. Make sure you match up the correct credentials when signing in. I hope this helps?

If not call the every trustworthy CIC helpdesk! (Trying to keep a straight face while I type)

All the best,

CanED.

Can somebody give me the link to the spreadsheet? Thanks!

According to the spreadsheet, it takes at least a year from the beginning to the end!

Yes that is pretty much the case. I have found that the spreadsheet really helps you get through the very long stretches wher you hear nothing from CIC, but you can see that they are working and that things are moving by watching the people ahaed of you. Even though it looks like a year there are no guarantees. You can see by the spreadsheet that some move faster than others and without seeing everybodys appliaction it is impossible to know why. Are you about to join us?
