Big jump, I expect 2013 applicants should be hearing good news by next week, hopefully they keep giving AIP's and DM's at the same time!

Hello everyone Just got an email from CPC-Vegreville!! Got Stage 1 and 2 approval as well as my open work permit approved
Now anxiously waiting for the Calgary office to contact me.. wonder what the wait time is.. Screech any insight ..


I also want to thank you Screech for updating this time sheet (and everyone participating in the forum)... you guys have been an amazing support group. Wish you all the best of luck.. I'll keep checking in because I want to see everyone on that time sheet approved

Landing in Etobicoke

Dear all
Today I have finished the landing interview in Etobicoke office. My appointment was 10:45 but we (me and my husband) wait for almost 2h in very crowded office. By the way, the final landing interview is great experience with a great officer. She started the interview, checked our address and asked my husband: Did he know the sponsor responsible, etc... and then asked me three general question: Did I have any other children dependent? Did I have any criminal record? Did I got denial entry to Canada? then we signed the paper for CORP.
In Etobicoke, they also have Service Canada to apply for permanent SIN right after landing interview so we waited for half an hour more to have my per SIN and everything was done so smooth. That was the best memory. I am a official PR. ^^!
Now just wait for the PR card.
Thanks everyone for a very helpful place where I a lot of information.

I got my AIP today!!!!!
So happy!!!!
I couldn't sleep half night when I saw Dec'24 got AIP. So I was thinking abut updating my resume and get my nice work clothes from the upper shelves))))
But didn't want to jinx it and decided to wait))))

I can't understand if i got and stage or not...it says i am eligible to be sponsored. And then it says application is complete and CIC Hamilton will contact me

You got AIP and DM at the same time!

Usually the OWP is approved on same day as AIP stage. But it is not always the rule. If it isn't approved same day as OWP, it will be approved shortly after.

I hope so, i was thinking that maybe because they need my sons birth certificate...i did put it in the mail today so im hoping they should receive it by Monday...
