Yeah , they got AIP a few days before us.

That would be good, but there is lots of January applicant who still didn't get DM.
I got my work visa and visa extension about 2 week earlier than the posted times on the cic website , so never know. They are unpredictable.
If i know my luck, i won't have anything for 4-5 moth

Hi, We received AIP February 3, 2012 and the email said my application for work permit is approved and will be mailed separately, how soon can I expect this work permit as my friend said it took more than 3 months for him?

back in September ours came about 2 weeks later if that helps any.

Thanks Wolanila thats a big help, cuz I'm starting to make plans and I can't start without the actual work permit. I have no idea why it took 3 months for my friend to get his.

mine came in different envelopes but on the same day~~ (though they also said "will be mailed separately)
