I was able to log in using both mine and my sponsers information this morning....

I am unable to login as well using my sponsor and my client ids. Also please I need help. Just got a letter from cic telling me I am eligible for PR but they have to do security and medicals checks. Also it says I am eligible to file for an OWP. Is this the AIP?

Yes Congrats that is AIP, now you can apply for OWP, student visa, health card.

Maybe it has to do something with technical update. I can't log in starting from Saturday. I think there's nothing to worry since you are not the only one.

Hey , did you get your GCMS notes yet?

I just got mine but they messed up something , i got Temporary resident application notes instead of the PR notes :/
I just them an email to correct their mistake , i hope it won't take another month!

We will get our notes around the 11th I also hope you dont have to wait another month!!

Last time i sent my request , they could't see the attachment and they replied in 2 hour to resend it...
So i hope they just send the right ones.
I am sure it takes 1 month so they don't have to process that much application.

The second time we sent ours they thought it was the same request as the first one so we also had to re-submit ours. lol

Hi everyone , i have a not Family sponsorship related question.

Any help would be appreciated!

I have a friend who works in canada since 2011 March, he has a work permit valid until 2013 march.
His LMO has been refused , can he apply under CEC? (canadian experience class)
If yes , can he remain in canada and get a work permit extension? (Open or closed work permit?)
I am not familiar with the CEC , is this has stage1 (AIP) and after AIP you can apply for Open work permit?
His lawyer is a joke , thanks for the help!

Its suppose to be 30 days by law Iv been told. But Iv heard of it taking a bit longer sometimes. Did you check your junk mail?

The statutory requirement is 30 days, though they can ask for an additional 30 days. I've only had them be late once (and that time it was 75 days, but I'd asked for a physical copy of my file.)
