thanks Ericc, I can't see it - but as far as the notes go i am currently waiting for security checks - so perhaps as this is the case - there is not actual BFD and that is why i am not seeing anything! Could be wishful thinking on my part.

Don't stress Pritha - the notes have nothing to do with your application - you do not have to jump through any more hoops. Basically they are an informative tool that you can use to see exactly where CIC are with your application. You order them from separate dept. from CIC I believe but i...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

GCMS notes are records lept that show what CIC have on file for you. You can only order them, or have someone oreder them for you from within Canada. I think the most they will cost you si $5. Search for GCMS above and there is a topic labelled guide to GCMS that lets you know what is included...

Thanks Computergeek! Agreed, I think it was your post that said on the "guide to GCMS" forum that this could take anywhere up to years to complete! Fingers crossed not in this case! :D It is confusing, but I'll have a right look tonight and go through the guide. What is involved in the...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

Hi All, I got my GCMS/Foss notes today and I am just in the process of trying to decipher them. I have read the GCMS dedicated topic and it was very helpful. As far as I can tell - Security is the only item remining. But I could be wrong. It is tough to get a proper grasp of the info - but i...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

Yes, three months for me also. Submitted the medicals on Sept 21st after getting AIP on the 18th. Fingers crossed for any day now for us all to hear good news. Yes Pritha, you have got the right idea. Stage 1 mostly focuses on the sponsor and stage 2 is all about the applicant applying for PR.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

Yeah I think about 6 months at present. Just relax! Apply for your OWP and take things from there! Don;t be thinking negatively about the process! I forgot about it soon after we put it in the post and only really started thinkign about it once CIC got in contact regarding AIP. The time flew by!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2012

You would have to ask your current employer and once they agree there is no issue in continuing work as far as I am aware. I asked CIC about this as my work permit was expiring on Sept last and that is what they told me to do!

    Inland Application 2011

Just called them in the hope that I got speaking to that same agent, and to check if the process would be delayed if I change provinces! I feel as if I know less after the call than before! ;D. Just the same old spiel! Wait eight months after AIP, call us in a month if you hear nothing...
