Hey guys
I need some help
I (sponsor) received the AIP letter on oct 3d...but my wife's letter was sent to the old address and lost...i called the call center on November 1st...the agent told me that they will Make a request to vergivile toissue another copy to be sent to our new address within 2 weeks....well its been 28 days already and nothing...is it a normal wait time?
Should i call again?

Congratulations! Lets hope the AIp comes quick. The days from application recieved to AOR is 84 days in your case. WOW!

Hi Kayvan,

We were in a similar position - I would call again for sure and keep calling until you have the letter in your hand. It is their mistake after all.

Hey thanks for the reply....i called cic just now....they said to re-issue a new copy of any lost letter ..the cic agent always make request to vegreville which takes two weeks to go through....and it will takes up to 3 month for the applicant to receive the re-issued letter.....

this morning we got the AOR email, said that CIC received our app by Sep 31.

took 6 month and 12 days for 1st stage. my app was sent may 10th AIP Nov 22nd!!!

Hi guys I've been busy for a while forgot to share my timeline to everybody. We received our AOP thru email from CIC last Oct 25th. And last thursday Nov 22nd CIC calledme to inform that they will issue my OWP pn January 2013. Does it mean that they already approve my husband as sponsor?
