hello everyone!

I got a letter today about my landing interview! WHEWW!

It will be on Septmeber 23, 2011 so that's gonna be 3 weeks from today.. Im so excited!

They said to bring my sponsor with me.

Plus, they want me to bring my old SIN (im in a working visa before) because they will change it at the time of my interview. It indicated there too that a person from service canada will be there to issue me a new SIN.


Now i can't wait for the day..

yea i did it. i applied the RAMQ 2 days ago, but the funny thing is, they dont accept my bank statement, our marriage cerifiticate, the letter from the immigration and the CSQ as the proof of address!!
they said they just accept telephone bill / electricity bill but i said to them, both bills are with the name of my hubby. and the staff asked if i lived with my hubby!! damn! of course yea! he's my sponsor!!
they required me to find a lawyer to write a proof - what the hell!

it said the processing of my application has been completed. now needa wait the immigration centre in montreal to contact me.
the letter also mentioned $490 fee.

You will receive a letter from your local office, which is Montreal regarding your landing date in a couple of days. Sometimes, they do call you too to confirm your landing date. The landing date letter will tell you when to show up and where, the PR photo specifications and if you need to bring your spouse with you.

the lady would received me at the counter was a nice one! she didnt what's possibilities and just print out a request to me.

Warning for all inland applicants whose local office is quebec city:

You are probably in for a log wait to have a landing interview. waiting times are now 4 months since they received the approval in principal letter. then if , like in my case, they make mistakes and send, stupidly, applications back and forth to montreal and quebec city, you are likely to wait even more. crazy. a real disappointment with a country like canada where things in government usually are much faster. immigration in this country sucks...ridicoulous. my sister who lives in the states had the same situation like me (family class , and applied inland and her whole process lasted 3 and half months!!!not that i would like to live in the states but i think they have many more immigrants there....they should definitely employ more people or open more local offices....

my approval in principal is dated 29 april 2011
they said i'm likely to have a landing interview in quebec city at the end of october.....
I'M leaving for italy at the start of december. i hope at least i will have done the interview by then because i would'n t want to cancel my trip for this stupid bureaucracy. my tickets are already reserved and paid....

Congrats to all of you who got good news....it's really nice to know someone has moved on...

I feel I'm almost out of control, losing my patient since I thought I would get some news now but the truth is CIC extending their processing time. I've been reminding myself all the time that I'm not the only one waiting, I should shout my mouth up and keep waiting but it has started being a little bit hard to me. I wish I could be more tough....

Anyway, I hope everyone has a good long weekend and enjoy as much sunshine as you can because I can feel the weather gets colder a bit day by day. Also, let's hold our hands and encourage each other...."we'll make it!!"

I am wondering how long does it take to receive my CSQ and about when I can receive DM?
