Does anyone know what's the local office for Québec and it's processing times?
Or does Québec not have a local CIC office, because that's the part what MICC does?
What will this mean for the processing time at CIC for PR after the MICC approved me (Québc Selection Certificate)?

Black-berry, if you don't mind sending me your e-mail I will send you what I used for my pictures.

And did everyone send FOSS notes? this is the first time I hear about it.

Can anyone answer me? If I send in a visitor visa application now and I get the LMO later, can I still apply for restoration of WP in 90 days from the expiry? And what happens if I get my LMO and apply for WP just about the time the previous expires so I`m going to be on implied status but the extention gets rejected? Sorry, but no call centre agent gave me a straightforward answer and I`d like to know.

Well, then it's going up very quickly as the call center agent just told me it's taking 10-11 month now... Wow, they don't even know themselves

well mine took 9 months and 2 weeks for AIP.. so if an agent is saying 10-11 .. then he could be right

It is hard to keep my wits about me when I see the timeline getting slower and slower. I know I am lucky that I am here with the man I love (and luckily have the ability to both work and study in this country) but it would be nice to be able to start to establish myself, build my own credit, do all of the things that were so easy to do in my country.

On a happier note...my partner and I adopted a kitten...so that is one thing that makes me smile multiple times everyday!

Well the updated timelines today still say 8-9 mths so I hope that is correct. They're working on applications received up to Feb 15th now.

You can build your credit (if you meant credit history) here in Canada. You said you can work and study, that means you have study and work permit.
With study and work permit, i have build my credit history here in Canada. I know bank are tougher these days in issuing you the credit card. But you can always go for a secured credit card, and it also helps you build credit history. Credit history can also be built by paying off your utility bill on time.

im so envy for the kitty!!! :P i would do that too im always talking bout it to my hubby. but i know we cant have it now cause we live with inlaws and mom doesnt like cats. i adore cats! so waiting patiently till we get our own place to live.

today was my second attempt to register for health card, but this time they didnt accept any paper with my address. the only document i can get now is monthly mailed bank statement of our joint bank account. which (statement) we dont have right now. need to wait till december :(
