Hi guys !

I'm a 2011 inlander but i think this might help you !!

We received AIP in February 29th 2012, and they requested police certificate from my husband's country, and we have one non-accompanying dependent so he had to go trough a medical exam and background checks too. They received all the information requested in June, and the overseas office finalized our kid's application back in July 4th. We order FOSS notes twice, and the bfd for both of them was Oct 25th. We waited and nothing happened. So we decided to contact our MP. We sent him an e-mail on Dec 3rd, got a reply back yesterday saying that we are on the final steps and immigration will contact us. This morning we checked our e-cas and it says DECISON MADE !!!

We sent you a letter on December 5, 2012 to XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

So for all those people that are still waiting for a final decision and just needs that last kick I strongly suggest to contact your MP !!! This might make your IO to look at your file and make a decision.

I hope it helps !!

Confused..

Hi guys,
it's been a while I posted on here but I was reading posts every now and then. I finally landed last week and became permanent resident after long and tiring 4 1/2 year processing. landing interview was simple and to be honest after the time it took i was not sure if I should feel excited or not anymore. but well to majority of you who help and support other readers I am really grateful to all of your help. I would like to say at the end don;t lose hope if your case is genuine you will get there sooner or later. Good luck

vegreville is messing around they dnt need anything yet no updates like honestly people need to move on with their lives.

My hubby got a call last Wednesday. The immigration officer congratulates my hubby for the approval of his application. Wow! Though, we are waiting for this moment, it came unexpectedly. The next day, my hubby called the IO to schedule his landing interview, and it happened today at 8:30am here in Vancouver.

The interview was so simple, just confirming that all the information is correct. Asking the same questions in the application, i.e. have you been convicted..., have you been refused entering canada..., etc. She also explained the permanent residency requirement and how to apply for citizenship. That he has already 1 year towards the requirement for citizenship. She also mentioned that PR card will be received in two months time and once received, he can apply for permanent SIN.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support and encouragement. For those who is still waiting, don't loose hope. Good luck!

Those who are applying in Toronto may get some news for second stage approval by february, as they are doing a massive landing ceremony, instead of one by one and I know somebody who applied on january 2010 just got his landing interview date for next february.

I too, got landed in a massive ceremony.

I'm just guessing, anyways.

Cheers!

Hi my 2010-ers.

I think about you guys everyday.

Hi everybody!
Still no news for us, we ordered FOSS notes and no special information on it, We contacted MP, and he said our case was going normal speed ( :o ) and that we should hear something sometime in January....When we call the call center they said everything is fine just wait ....SOOOOO UPSETTING.... The bring forward date in our file after the medical were redone was November 30th,,,,we are Jan 4th and still nothing......Good luck anyway to all 2010 people that are still waiting!!

Happy new Year

I just received foss notes again.. and there is nothing on it as well except for my work permit application last June (2012).

They don't give any information about the PR application...
