Hi Kieran,

if they continue with the speed that had previous weeks you should hear something pretty soon. You should call again and again until you get an answer... maybe you get good news today and can celebrate during the weekend.

I wish I could. I'm at work and can't really sit on my phone all day waiting to get through - I might get in trouble . They really need more staff on the phones in my opinion.

I guess I understand you, but to be honest I prefer CIC having more people processing our papers than answering the phone calls. Anyways thursdays and fridays are the most busy days according to CIC.

Hi, pepe. I have been quite busy lately. Hubby and I have been making permanent plans about jobs, school, car, and our own place. And our anniversary is tomorrow so we have been busy planning that. I will try to update it before the weekend is up. Sorry for the lack of one.

Anyway, how is everyone? I didn't have the chance to check the mail today because my MIL left the key for the PO box in her car and she went away for the weekend so I won't get to go until Monday. However, I just awoke from a nap in which I got the mail from immigration so I believe Monday might be the day.

So, don't laugh at me guys but I was kind of bored this evening and did some unnecessary research.

These are the jumps that Vegreville has been having:

Mar.30 - 9 days
Apr.6 - 12 days
Apr.13 - 8 days
Apr.20 - 11 days
Apr.27 - 4 days
May 4 - 6 days
May 11 - 8 days
May 19 - 12 days
May 25 - 9 days
June 1 - ?

I am always hoping for a 12 day jump so I say Aug.15.

Anyone else care to play?

CrazyLucy, I think it has just slowed down probably because I am not on as much anymore and as you said many have gotten AIP/PR. As much as I love this place, hubby and I have to start forming our lives together. That keeps us busy most days now. And also it can be slow here because some people are already here on a work permit and are at work. They reply when they get the chance. I shall be on more next week. However, today's our anniversary. Sorry I can't be on more. But I will always try to get on when I can to check on you all and keep you uplifted. Stay strong.

Hi Guys!

Sorry if I was away for a couple of days. Been busy at work and yesterday we had our ultrasound.

It's a baby boy for us!!! We are so happy because that's what we are praying for. CrazyLucy, I'm here all weekend so if you need to vent I'm willing to listen. We are almost there!!! I try not to think about it too much as it is now good for me to be stressed out. Everything will fall into place soon. Have a great week everyone!

Thanks Ardmac! I'm hoping we get the good news soon, I can't wait! I think I will receive mine next week maybe the week after but I don't mind getting the good news too by Friday. It's almost over for us and the wait sometimes get unbearable.

OMG Decision made woo hoo doing the total freaky happy dance right now. I can't believe after all this waiting that it's finally almost finished. What a wonderful feeling it was to get the email that said update. Of course I had to go check for myself and yessssss decision made and they sent a letter out on the 26th. I guess now I will go crazy waiting on the letter and the landing interview but I have already lost most of my sanity through this process. What a glorious day!! ;D

Today we got our "Police clearance" from country of origin after 5 weeks, we already Xpress post it to Vegreville, now waiting for a letter for Permanant Residence interview date?
