INLAND APPLICATIONS 2010

Yes, that's the one magical local office: Oshawa. Unfortunately, you don't get to choose, Vegreville sends the application to the one that corresponds nearest to you and I'm stuck with Scarborough.
Yes Mimi, you receive your 2 AIP letters way before your status changes to "Decision Made". In my AIP letter, I was asked to submit additional documents which after I sent them next day, it took about 3 months for my status to finally change to "Decision Made".
Good luck!, where are you in the process???.

I have finally made a table that I think looks suitable for here. It I messed up something on yours such as a date or anything, please let me know. If you are not on the list it is because you did not list enough information for me to list on here. Please update when you have a change to what is listed. I hope this table helps everyone keep track of each other better and to see who is next in line. I put everyone in order so it is easy to follow along with. I will continue to update it as soon as there is something new to post. I will also put this list on the first page so you can just look on the first page if you like as well. Well here it is, I have worked all afternoon on it so I hope everyone likes it. ;D

thanks for you efforts Love young.
so i finally phoned immigration today as you told me, i was surprised to learn that now it takes 9 months just to see if the sponsor is eligible or not and after that god knows how long for the final appr. i told her that before you can hear a final decision withing 6 month( everyone i know got their approval withing six months) she said to me that things have changed because of so many applications. too bad because my husband could have applied under Canadian experience but i insisted to sponsor him, we thought it will be safer and faster this way :( shudav known better .

You can still withdraw it i guess. If they haven't started processing they will refund all your money.

srcc and MexicanTica are not on Decision Made yet, Love_Young. They are both In Process.
I am the only one on Decision Made, apparently.
There appears to be serious confusion with the Decision Made thing and no matter how many times I've explained it, people don't get it.
You are on Decision Made when it clearly shows that on your main e-cas login page, not on the details.
The confusion arises when e-cas shows "A decision has been made and you will be contacted." line on the details page, not the main login page. That line does not mean you are on Decision Made status yet. Not sure why they post that line way before the real Decision Made status comes up.

I think your table should read like this:

Application received on/ Application began processing on/ AIP on/ Decision Made on/ COPR appointment on/ and last one: Landed on/

Just an idea of how to make it clearer for everybody.

Additional documents were requested by Vegreville, therefore up to Vegreville they went, adzees. 3 documents were requested:
1. Fingerprints and photos as specified.
2. Birth certificate for our daughter (who was born in Canada after we began our sponsorship process).
3. Photocopy of my passport's bio-page.

I can't exactly edit that part. If I do it screws up the whole table.
I don't see why the COPR appointment is needed because that is the same date you land so that will be listed under LANDED and also the COPR is for outlanders anyway or from what I can tell. And the decision made section means was to show if you were either approved or denied. I then list the date the decision was made under First Stage Approval (same thing as AIP) since that is the same date you receive AIP. Application began processing is the same thing as "in process". I can understand the confusion with the Decision Made thing but not the rest. Care to explain better?

Thanks for the suggestion by the way but I can't exactly spell out a long sentence for each topic section or the table won't fit. Hopefully you all understand. Maybe I am wrong but I thought I did alright... :-[
I can edit First Stage Approval to say Approval In Principle if you like but that seems to be the only thing I see needed to change due to confusion.

Actually they approve both the sponsor and applicant at the same time. That is why the processing is much longer.
Where as with Outland they investigate the sponsor and applicant portions separately. When you get AIP, they have approved both the sponsor and applicant.

I think the COPR appointment letter is the one I'm refering to. That is the one I'm waiting for. About 2 months ago I received the Decision Made letter and in it, it states that I will be contacted by my local office for the COPR appointment which takes place weeks later depending on your local office.
COPR is for everybody, inland or outland. Let me attach my famous Decision Made letter in here so you can see what I mean better, Love_Young.
