I wouldent write them to complain, it would take 12 months before they get to it..liza-laziza said:OMG!! I can't believe!! They've been processing 1 week for 2 months!!! And the time is still counting! Although I am 6 weeks away from the date on their website, with this speed it will take me another YEAR just to get AIP!!! Are they crazy???????????? Is there any authority above them where we can write to complain?????? There are real people behind those papers, don't you understand that?????????
Cami said:Hi!! I just found out about this forum!! My mom send the application on February last year and now we are just waiting. There are a couple of things that may bring some trouble though. Im older than 22 and because I spent a year in Canada with a study permit studying english is possible that I don't count as dependent children older than 22... Also my mom is doing it as a common in law partner.. I hope that doesn't affect anything either..
I've been trying to log in on the ecas and it doesn't let me... so my mom is calling right now. I just want to confirm it is in process. A bit too late, I know but I thought you couldn't track it until you pass the first stage... Good thing I came across with this forum!!
Thanks!!
Well said!!!ilovecanada4ever said:"We have to be good at waiting, we have to love it. Because waiting is, not waiting, it is LIFE. Too many of us live without fully engaging our minds, waiting for the moment when our real lives begin. Years pass in boredom, but that's okay because when our true love comes around, or we discover our real calling, we will begin. Of course the sad truth is that if we are not present to the moment, our true love could come and go and we wouldn't even notice. And we will have become someone other than the you or I who would be able to embrace it. I believe an appreciation for simplicity, the everyday - the ability to dive deeply into the banal and discover life's hidden richness - is where success, let alone happiness, emerges." Josh Waitzkin
