Any other inlanders for 2011?

OK...I would just like to reassure people a little bit......my story.

My applications was received by Vegreville September 30th 2009. CIC website stated that applications would not even be opened for at least 7 to 9 months at that time. A call to the CIC call center confirmed this.

So we waited, as per instructed, believing that my application would be assessed somewhere between April 2010 and June 2010.

We were wrong, on 27th April 2010, we got a brown envelope from CIC. The letter inside told a different story, application received 30th September 2009, process started 3rd November 2009, decision made 27th April 2010.

I got AIP that day, 1 week later I got my landing letter and landed in Vancouver on 20th May 2010.

I am not sure why CIC give out this information but from personal experience, things are a lot different. Just take a huge deep breath and believe.

Any others?

Thanks for keep posting and thank love young for your support. You both are great. I have made it in excel sheet but been really busy as moving to Montreal this weekend and have been replying specifically to only those who need the help.

No worries missha. I was anxious to update our chart. LOL
I was bored one day.

Fleo, they better start processing your app in the next 19 days. On Apr.24 it will be 3 months. Are you signed up for e-cas?

Also, I read somewhere on this site and on the e-cas site that some guy started it. How the heck did he start it without CIC's permission. Can he do that? Is it a safe website for us?

Hi,

New here. Would like to be added to your list. Me and my husband sent our inland spousal sponsorship application on 1/31 and it was received by Ted McCreary on 2/3/2011. So we are just waiting to hear any news. Wonder how long it takes.

They'll start when they start, ommmmmmmmmmmm. You're making me nervous :D

I'm signed up for the tracker, yes, and I try to log in manually about once a week... unless I forget :D .... but no luck so far.

Even if they started processing already you probably still won't be able to log in. Some could not log in until AIP. Others were able to 4-9 mths into the process. They started processing mine in July but I wasn't able to log in until August.

Sorry to make you nervous fleo. I didn't mean to. I know we still have a long wait but I like to see progress. LOL

Welcome Dorina to our thread. Is your file in process yet?

Wow Ted mc creary seem to be the only person working at vegreville(at least at the door). both the original application and additional info's reception of packages sent were signed by him.....LOL..... ;D

Yup, Ted is our designated package boy :)

Anyways, angtao, I wasn't that serious ;) I just already made my peace with the fact that e-cas may or may not show anything so I'm not really giving it much thought, if I start checking it twice a day again hubby will strangle my while I sleep :D

I can't believe that tomorrow is only 1 week since our app was received.

Gonna be a looooooooooooooooooooooooong wait!

Fleo, forget e-cas. Try calling CIC and check with the automated phone thing. Maybe it is in process but you just don't know.

Any other 2011 inland applicants? There has to be more of us:)
