Yup thats AIP congratulations! Nice start of the week!

Hopefully next week hatrang you will get yours! They said in Website they are processing application recieved on october 7 as of August 22 but mine was october 11, thats by the next week you will hear from them. After almost 11 months atlast i heard something from them. Thanks God it was a beautiful weekend!

Hi ppl,

Quick question, Is it necessary that CIC ask you for your medical before a decision on the first stage?/. Im applying inland from Quebec. Its almost 11 months since I applied. Does the fact that no medicals were required so far mean a definite interview?

My 2nd stage not finish yet. Dawie got 2nD stage DM on weekend after got AIP on August 22. INSHALLAH soon i will have DM too before my appointment with CBSA.

I have a question. I have submitted OWP application alone with the PR application. So i am expecting OWP when I receive my AIP. I want to know if I can still apply re-entry visa after I obtain OWP. I want to go back to my country within this year since I havent back for almost 5 years.

just call cic call center they said my stage 2 will take up to 18 to 24 months this sucks becouse school dose not take aip to let you in the school i cant beleave this 18 to 24 months just feel like leaving at this point

I believe it's only after the second stage actually starts that they'll request the medical exam if one has not been completed already. If a person is called to an interview before a stage 1 decision, it'd be because they question the validity of the relationship and need more proof.

Good luck! Mine is Hamilton, i hope it wont take long to get DM in my second stage! We really want to spend holidays in my home country. My family really wants to meet my husband and my children.

ecas...thank God, one of the agents probably will tell me 2nd stage will take about 18 months.without opening up my file..i realize most of the agent isn't helpful...
