I can't believe it was "no jump" I'm pretty sure for some reason they didn't update...
We'll see tomorrow!

Gemauru, where have you been girl? It has been a while since I have seen you on.

Don't forget about us. Keep us posted all the way until the end if you can!

Very busy everywhere (home, work) now on vacation but with my daughter wedding coming next week going crazy.
No news at all... only my hubby visitors visa expired for the second time, we apply for the extension and still waiting for the reply...

Be back in 2 weeks, unless I get something interesting before.
Take care, good luck everybody and enjoy the nice weather!!!!!

Hi
Finally I have sent my inland application. To tell u little abt me, I am in Canada with my Canadian wife. I applied before as Outland and got rejected coz I did not attend the interview coz my Uk visa was expired and I could not go back.

Now I have applied for inland and also for visitor extension.

Can someone tell me how long it takes to get the visitor permit?

And please add me in the log list.

Thanks

Naz

Welcome nazam80. Can you tell me the exact date that your application was recieved by Vegreville?

Also, I am not surre how long it takes to extend the visitor visa. You will have to check on the CIC website.

Hope everyone is doing well with this wait.

Hi thanks for reply. I have applied through the Immigration Consultant. She has sent it yesterday i believe it will be special delivery. I have the payment reference which i will be able to use in order to check the online ECAS once they started processing...

Is there anyone else know the time for visitor extension?

Also for my last case (Outland) rejection , i have got my CAIPS notes which tells me why they have rejected my case. Everything seems fine and the only reason is that i did not go to the interview to UK which i told them that i dont have visa for UK to go back. Even before decision i applied for Withdrawal but the case worker did not accept my request of withdrawal which legally he should have.

Anyway please add me in your list as applied on 18th August 2011 and then i will update you further.

Thanks

Naz

Wow, it is really quiet in here. Where is everyone? Probably enjoying the last bit of summer before we are stuck inside during the winter.

Hi All,

I got an email from CIC required me to update some missing information in the applicant form such as: current address, current work, current organization....
I have sent them all (for sure now they have received): updated history form (education + work + address), my birth certificate and my marriage license which I missed including in the original application. Regarding about the police clearance, I have already had it done from the country of my original but I was wondering whether I should send it to CIC or not as I know many people were required to provide it just once their first stage approved...do you think it would be fine to wait until they ask or should I go ahead to send?

Thanks for your prompt advices....

HELLO EVERYONE...
We sent our inland application together with the application of open work permit on May 24, 2011. CPC vegrellile recieved it on May 27th. Until now we haven't heard anything from them. My concern is my work permit will expire on October 18 2011. Should I apply for another permit? But the problem is my employer would not renew my contract because I am 7 seven months pregnant. Its understandable anyway because when I give birth I cannot work right away.

Thank you,
nilyam

Heidy, we sent ours with our application. I believe you have to send it. If not, I would send it anyway because it takes them 2-2.5 months right now on top of the 10 month AIP wait to open mail and attach the documents. Definitely send it now. You can ask the Inland 2010 people there advice but I would just send it. It doesn't hurt. It will only help you. But make sure you put your client id number at the top of every page.

Nilyam, I believe and I am not sure, I think I read somewhere that you can keep working with an expired work permit. Maybe ask this question in the Inland 2010 thread.

Hello Nilyam,

If you included the application for open work permot with your initial application you do not need to renew your WP as you would be considered in ''implied status''

“implied status”. Basically if a worker, student or visitor files an application to extend their status in Canada, they may remain in Canada on the terms of the original status until a decision is made on their application to extend. That is, a worker can continue to work, a student can continue to study and a visitor can continue to visit until they get an answer on their extension application, so long as they remain in Canada.

Nilyam, could you tell me when your file started processing so I can add you to the chart?
