Is here anyone who received a medical insurance before getting PR? Please share any experiences on interactions with RAMQ - what do they require for the insurance? CSQ? AIP? COPR or PR card?

We were only able to register with RAMQ once we had COPR, then had to wait the 3 months waiting period...

Did you receive an AIP? Some people say that AIP (which comes earlier) also works for RAMQ.

AIP comes on very end of the process not so early hehe but yeah with AIP you can apply for ramq

I've heard that it is possible to obtain a medicare with a full-time job. What about self employment?
