Why didn’t you try going via Egypt ? You wouldn’t even need to quarantine for a week

Serbia is more tested route and hotel stay is also pretty cheap. Also it would have been very tiring journey as I have to travel further from Toronto. And one of my known has travelled a week ago from Serbia route so I know what all things I have to carry. I saw a video on You tube regarding Egypt route where the feedback was not good.

My suggestion would be which ever route you find cheaper and convenient, go for that route. For a couple, may be Maldives route is best as it is kind of mini vacation for them.

Regarding Canadian authorities, waiting till 21st September is too much to ask. Right now the condition in India is pretty good as more than 50% of total reported cases are from Kerala and neighboring states and there are high chances that situation might not be as good as it is right now.

These are my views and thoughts. Please don't go on my thoughts. Evaluate your position and then take a decision. I know the money I am spending is too much as it is one fourth of tuition fee of a semester.

If it weren't, there would be a logical reason behind their decisions. Not talking about this but other decisions too. The fact that they are complaining about increasing arrival cases despite this system being in place is a clear sign that it isn't working and they needn't look far to sort it out. Opening it for other countries and extending India's travel ban scientifically doesn't the problem they are claiming to solve. Instead, there seems to be an ulterior motive behind these bans. Trust me, all these decisions are political at this level and at this point.

And you would expect Feds to go against Public Health Agency recommendation and lift restriction? If they did that, then that would be political stunt. Anyway, it is what it is, skip that crying part and look at other options.

Hi @Shadow_Man, you said you know people who reached Canada by this route? Could you please elaborate? The transit testing seems to be only for passengers to/from China. Thanks in advance!

1. I am taking a flight from Delhi to Mexico to Canada and from delhi to mexico .. i got stop in dubai and then in florida and then in Mexico. So I still needs visa for USA if I am not stopping there for covid test and going to Mexico for that to reach canada.

2. If i take this Route Delhi-Mumbai-London-Mexico and from Mexico test done and then reach Canada? Do i need visa for London also or am I green for Transit flight?

If you are transiting through a US airport then you need a US visa. It doesn't matter if you are stopping there or not to get a covid test. You cannot transit through a US airport without a valid US visa.

I don't know the answer to your second question.

No stops that require a visa please.
Stops that have PCR testing facility on site with no quarantine stay.

Guys, is Delhi- Maldives- Toronto route good. Since visa on arrival is available for Indians at Maldives and fully vaccinated persons need not take quarantine, can we take pcr test from Maldives and be on our way to Canada.

It is quite good route. Tickets are bit expensive. Please check some VLogs on youtube for prerequisites like hotel booking and all.

Answer to you second question, if you have same carrier from Mumbai to Mexico, in that case you will not face any problem. As long as you don't have to leave transit area, it's fine. Please also check the airports as you might be landing on Heathrow and next flight from Gatwick. It there is anything like self transfer, then it is problem. You can check with airline too.
