Starting on July 19 at 11:00am IST, the VFS passport submission webform will go online for all holders of Passport Request letters

So that means regardless of any emails you've sent to VFS to pick up passport, you have to fill out the webform to proceed right? That's the only method going forward?

That seems like it. But in case you already have your PPR, please reach out to VFS helpline and try to get some answers.

Same thing again, they usually do webinars after there's a bit of unrest, like mass tweets or public outcry on decisions etc. Hope people ask good questions in the end -that is the most important part of the webinar.

How do i listen to that webinar? Is there a link ?

See they will never speak with 100% certainty but she definitely was in a good mood today in Both the calls. So in the first call the question was now that VACs have opened, what about the old applications?
Exact words were: “We are releasing decisions as we speak and we will keep doing it, in case you have not received a decision, please wait till this Friday and hopefully it should be done.” You can find today’s webinar’s on Youtube too.
