August 4 processing at IRCC, received the Counterfoil email today. Nothing from VFS.

Same date, no update

Spousal application, passport has been in process since August 4. Screw this joke of a Transport Minister Omar Alghabra for continuing to extend direct flight ban to India and only India. I am guessing the latest delay has something to do with why we aren't getting our passports back.

We got another "Ready for Visa" email today from CPC Ottawa which was basically a copy of the first PPR email that we got. It's ok to disregard it right? We got the first one in April and already sent the passport to VFS.

Our Passport reached Chandigarh on the 23rd but we haven't received any communication since then. Anyone else in the same boat?

Maybe you can get a family doctor to notarize it for you.

So that means regardless of any emails you've sent to VFS to pick up passport, you have to fill out the webform to proceed right? That's the only method going forward?

When is it going to open again?

That's from November of last year (I'm not saying that they won't respond the same way right now but still)

Is the 90 days extensions conveyed officially somewhere? Curious to know for peace of mind.

Oh great, Only took them this long to get an official response out. Here people were getting stressed about missing the deadline.

I probably asked this before but is there a way to send passport for stamping not through VFS and deliver it ourselves in India?

Thanks. I was able to get through to them. It's certainly more tedious that it used to be. Also I'm not sure where you're calling from but I'm calling from Canada and I get the option to leave my phone number and have someone call me when my number is up in the queue. It's pretty convenient.

Seems like IRCC changed the options again and I can't find a way to talk to an agent. Anyone know?

So do we have an official word from IRCC extending our Passpoer submission deadline due to VFS closure or do we have to obtain it ourselves?
