PS- Decision should come out yeah. So we know they are always scared of workload. This is why they were holding PPRs. They also gave a lot of refusals recently and held onto PPRs. So that they can do stamping without overwhelming the system.

I hope this theory makes any sense. Anyway, gone are the days of speculation and theories lol

It appears as though the passport submissions for now are limited to those who submitted their passports pre-lockdown and had it returned unstamped :(

Yes. But some news is better than no news. They will do that first and will keep releasing PPRs so that they system doesn’t break down. 2 of my classmates also had it returned. So I can imagine how many must have been returned from Apr 10-Apr 25

Got my PPR on April 30th. When do you reckon my turn might come? Maybe mid July.

Not counting the delay the pickup guys do, July mid is a good estimate of when you can expect them to e-mail you or open the portal directly to requests.

I hope they begin the drop in facility instead of courier. Saves a lot of hassle and time.

Not sure if you got some mail from VFS but some of my mates did. Looks like people before the lockdown will be stamped in the next ~ 3-4 weeks. So mass stamping shall begin in August then.

Only speculating from the email wordings.

Oh gosh wow. So glad for your friends. I am yet to receive the pasport submission email. Are they asking for 2 way courier or in-person dropping?

Mid July onwards when VFS clears the backlogs and gives its green signal to embassy that they are all set to handle mass PPRs, only then we may receive decisions (for those like me who lodged a complete (including biometrics and medicals) file before June 21 when biometrics resumed in India).
