I have submitted my passport surrender application via Canada post. To track updates, I see that there is tracking on the BLS website. However it still shows my previous PCC application updates that are linked to my previous Indian passport. Any idea if this will get updated once BLS processes my application? I am assuming it takes a week after postal delivery, is that right?

BLS does not accept application from Canada post as far as I know. Have you contacted them before sending it?

Another person here posted their application through Canada post for OCI and was processed. The only thing not available is tracking via BLS since they are associated with Purolator. Any reason that makes you say it is not accepted? I haven't contacted them to ask specifically though.

It used to be the case before where they would sit on the application and not process it but recently some people successfully got there application processed which was sent through Canada Post. Hope they do the same for you too.

Another person here posted their application through Canada post for OCI and was processed. The only thing not available is tracking via BLS since they are associated with Purolator. Any reason that makes you say it is not accepted? I haven't contacted them to ask specifically though.

One of my friends did the same in March and their application was returned without proper reason. But I see above that it is not the case now. So hopefully it works out for you.
For me, it took 4 days after purolator delivering to see the status on BLS website.

Oh sorry to hear that. This is not good that BLS can return without a reason and should warrant a complaint or follow up. On their website, they have no mention of denying other post services or couriers, which would not be legal too.

Received a message from BLS saying that the application is under process. I hope it reaches the consulate soon.

I can track it since today with today's application date on the status.
The last line says under process. Any idea if this means it is already at the consulate?

After this track on passport site. There you will see processing messages and once printed come and check BLS site for courier details.
