and under track status page: it says "Entered Application reference number can not be tracked. "

Do you see the File# in the column Next to ARN ? e.g. CATSCxxxx ?

This is strange, I would suggest you to contact then the BLS team to understand what's going on.

I tried their number but my call is being terminated due to high call volume. I have also raised a ticket but still waiting for response.

I'd suggest calling them first thing in the morning around 8am

Yes, bls-india is the only authority to issue SC and OCI in Canada.
But my question was can i apply for SC and OCI from India after traveling via e-visa.

You can apply for SC with Canadian Citizenship certificate only (I did that from BLS Canada - In person- overall process took 4 weeks)
and you can get OCI from India. You have to google and check some residency requirements and application goes to FRRO

You mean you received Surrender Certificate from India with Canadian Citizenship certificate and Canadian passport?

What @wincanton meant is that to apply for Indian surrender certificate at BLS locations in Canada you do not necessarily need Canadian passport.

No - I got SC within Canada by in-person application with Canadian Citizenship Certificate (without Canadian Passport) at BLS Brampton.

In pickup and drop off there is some EP service and photography service. What are these ? Are these required?

Payment can be made to BLS either by Cash or Debit card
But be prepared BLS will charge you extra e.g. courier, photo, etc

Hey.. Just received my surrender certificate. I am not able to book BLS appointment for OCI so I am planning to send it by mail. If I book pickup & drop off then there is no need to include any extra fee. It will be $345 (for OCI) + $7.40 (BLS) right? Also, I am planning to travel to India around 6th April so any experience with OCI processing time?
